Anyone ever see a UFO?

I got to thinking about this earlier today...I have seen something one time in all my life that I could not explain, I was NOT high at this time either, had my normal dosage of methadone in me at the time, so I know what I saw was real.

I was standing on my back deck, on the street behind us, there was a small church, their parking lot backed up to our backyard, this church had a steeple as well, so I was just standing there smoking a cigarette and happen to look at the steeple, and there was this 'gold ball thing' about 5 ft above the top of the steeple, at that moment I didnt really know what to think, so I kept watching it, it was not moving, not making any sound and did not appear to be lit in anyway, it was gold in color and was about the size of a beach ball (roughly about 2ft dia.).

I kept an eye on it for about 10 minutes, it was just sitting there above the steeple, I then went in to get my phone to take a picture of it, when I got back outside, it was at our fenceline, still at the same altitude (about 25ft up), just hovering there, no sounds, no lights, nothing, just a goofy gold ball hovering in the sky! Thats all it did..I did get a picture of it too (this was about 6 yrs ago, trying to find the picture, and will post it once I find it).

I stayed out on the porch for about 30 minutes, but it didnt move anymore or do anything, so once I had the picture, eventually I went inside and to bed, of course the next morning, it was gone, nothing strange in the yard, or on the church property, so I took a close look at the picture, I zoomed into it as far as i could on the computer, it was weird...it was gold colored in the center, but had some kind of ring around it when zoomed in, hard to explain, like a multicolored ring.

I have no clue what this thing was, but I have a feeling it knew I was seeing it, at that moment I realized that the universe we live in, is probably highly populated and we are definitely not alone!
 
For a couple months after this, I researched alot about this topic, I learned quite a bit, and now think our Govt probably knows all about UFOs, there is just too many Govt documents that make reference to them over the years for there to be nothing to it IMO.

What id really like to learn about is the super secret military CIA 'blue team' that is said to be involved in keeping this kind of thing secret...another thing that I think proves Govt involvement was US Senator Byrd, back in early 1990s, who directed his national security adviser investigate this topic, Then national security adviser, Dick DaMato, found a 'black arm' of the US Govt that was directly responsible for disinformation about UFOs, spending alot money to keep the entire UFO topic secret, and anyone who suddenly starts talking too much, is made to look like a quack and/or insane...solely to protect the secret.

What I cant figure out is why they go to such lengths to keep this secret? I mean, it wouldnt make that much difference if we knew other beings existed on other planets..right? Only thing I can figure is the actual truth is either so bizarre or does not bode well for mankind, so to avoid public panic, they keep this so top secret, only a select handful of people know the real truth.
 
I don´t believe we are alone in this infinite world.
Image the wast of space it that´s only us here.
I figured it was impossible.
And I also think we can´t see what we can´t see but it definitely exists imo.
 
I dreamed about going up in one and falling asleep and then the next day my friend- the only one I talked to regularly, called me up with a story about seeing one within hours if my dream.

Friends have described seeing UFOs around me, once, where I didn't see them at all (we were separated on a golf course at night), and I felt like I had lost time... But we were tripping... Not that that invalidates it. That same day a tornado had jumped over us.
 
I've seen balls of orange-golden light in the sky before, at about the height you describe too. They sort of phased in and moved in one direction then phased out again.. sometimes it looked like there were tiny sparks coming off of them.

This has happened maybe three times to me. I spent a lot of time just watching the stars when I smoked so I'm used to seeing my own fuzzy eye distortions etc, real shooting stars, planes and what have you.. but these orange-gold balls of light always caught me by surprise, like "wow.. what the fuck was that?".

It could be ball lightning or some kind of naturally occurring phenomena.. however the times I've seen them have all been when I've been heightened emotionally. Once post NN-DMT, once when I was stoned/dancing to music, and once when I was stone cold sober but feeling happy and emotional (had just watched Good Will Hunting for the first time haha) about my life.
 
yeah I once saw something, I could not recognize as any other flying object I have seen before. it was kind of cylindrical, floating almost vertical across the sky, with some flashing lights on it. It definately wasn't a plane or a helicopter, at first I thought of a satellite, but it seemed to be too close to be one. I could see details on the surface. Well, no idea what it was, never gonna find out, so this goes to the collection of odd experiences you cannot explain...
 
I recently posted this in another thread in P&S, here it is again. The only really unexplainable thing in this area I have experienced.

I did once experience something really bizarre on a drive home though that made me think a lot. It was dusk and I was making a 25-minute drive to my parents' house from college, with my then-girlfriend. Suddenly we see a weird green light that looked like a reflector wink into the sky and shoot VERY, VERY quickly across the whole sky. It hung there motionless first and then shot across. Then I started to notice these lights in the distance, little white lights. It looked like the outline of a huge building, with lights at just the points, which I thought was weird since we were out in the cornfields. As we got closer, I realized each light was actually two lights side-by-side, with each formation having the same small length between the lights. Then I realized they were moving slowly, each pair staying together. But they weren't moving steadily in a straight line. They were slowing down, speeding up, and moving in circular or side-to-side motions, or just hanging there. We both just stared, increasingly incredulous. The moon seemed extra crisp, as detailed and clear as I've ever seen it, you could see that it was rock clearly without any distortion... it was really beautiful so we got out for a couple of minutes to look at it, left the car running, stood by the car, it really seemed like just a couple of minutes. Then we got back in and kept driving. We came around a bend where you get a huge view from a rise out towards town (the edge of Chicagoland)... and lined up, from horizon to the left and horizon to the right, were these pairs of lights, in a criss-cross pattern... there must have been 50 or 60 of them, as far as I could see in both directions, ahead, seemingly over the town I was going to. My girlfriend and I began to seriously discuss whether we should still go, or drive the other way really fast and far. They were just hanging there, not moving. We opted to go to my parents' house anyway... we were ultimately sort of like "it's probably something explainable, military maybe". Once we got there, we got out of my car and noticed one of those pairs of lights much lower down, looking to be over the high school in my vision. Then a red reflector-style light appeared above our heads and shot across the sky impossibly fast. And then a military-looking plane went by overhead, so close I could see all the details on its body even in the dark, and made literally no sound at all other than the whoosh of wind from a fast plane being so close.

It was weird shit man. Oh, and when we arrived we realized that the normally 25 minute drive took us 55 minutes. We did stop and get out but we both agreed it was just for a few moments.

I'm going to paraphrase Stephen Hawking here; he said that it is unlikely that governments are covering up alien visitors, because they seem to be doing it exceptionally well and this is at odds with the usual level of competency of most world governments.

Personally, I think the fact that we still exist says that aliens have not noticed us yet. To a life-form that can travel the interstellar void, I don't think we would seem like all that much. Or perhaps we are alone in our galaxy, which I personally believe. There has to be a first civilisation; perhaps we are it...
 
^ really? I mean I feel that considering the size of the universe that statistically its more likely there is more life out there than not. And by life I'm considering things we might not even recognize as life at first

I agree with this. I would also add though that we tend to think in terms of the purely physical dimension.. no one considers the possibility that there may be other dimensions besides this one, perhaps even existing concurrently with our own physical realm here on earth. Not a new idea by any means but it never seems to be mentioned seriously in the "UFO" debate because we run on the assumption that life must exist with physical DNA, which is a fair enough assumption.. but still an assumption.
 
Earth is to minimal not to believe in other type of life.
Or maybe we are the drop in the ocean in someone´s microscope.
Yes I´ve seen it once when I was younger..
 
I remember a guy on this forum who used to post and had artwork up when there was a gallery, well respected and very smart. Rewiird or something (spelling off I think). I think he had some abduction experiences.

Just remembered. Wonder where that guy is.

I once heard someone ask why aliens would not just land on a city street and start asking people questions, someone else asked them if they knew any human being that had ever seen a cockroach on the floor and tried to ask it questions about its 'civilization' or questions about their lives...I think the alien being are just sooo far beyond us, it would be the same thing as us trying to have a conversation with a cockroach.

But the thing is, these strange crafts keep coming, more and more people keep seeing these things in the skies, year after year, plus, this has been going on as far back as history has been recorded, Ive read 'reports' from farm workers from the 1800s that have seen crafts and/or flying beings in the skies, so whatever these things are, they have been coming here for a very long time...I doubt its actually us (humans) they are interested in, id say its probably something in our planet or natural world that keeps them coming here.

Oh yea, if anyones interested, look up the NRO (National reconnaissance organization)...imo, this is a strange US Govt agency, I only learned about their existence a few months ago...apparently they have some super crazy high tech satellites that can see literally ANYTHING on the planet, with high def resolution, but strange thing is, they are never mentioned on the news, never mentioned or brought up by reporters, etc....IMO, if the US Govt had these kinds of high tech abilities, Id think they would be a great tool for all the wars and other conflicts they are involved in...but this agency is NEVER mentioned....I think of the KNOWN US Govt agencies, this would be the one that knows the most about UFOs...but then again, Im sure if the US does some have agency that deals with this, Im sure it is an agency that we do not know about.
 
I saw UFOs in 2010 while I was camping in the middle of nowhere. They were lights of all kinds of different colours, flying in strange formations and moving at impossible speeds. I was with 6 people on that camping trip and we all saw it. Based on how they would dim in and out, and how they zipped right up into outer space faster than I could track with my naked eye, it makes me wonder if they were indeed something interdimensional.

Part of me wonders if earth is some kind of pit stop for different interlopers. But my puny human mind probably can't grasp it.

If what others have seen are in fact aliens (not just alien technology)
they have to be using wormholes or other dimensions.
And you have to ask yourself why would an alien civilization want to come here in first place? If for our resources what are they waiting for? If they got what they need why are they still sticking around?
I dont think its possible we have "attracted" any aliens. Any detectable signal humans have put out havent had a chance to really make it anywhere.

In my opinion, whatever these aliens are, they are completely different in every single way from mankind, this includes their physics, spacecraft mechanics, etc. Alot of people keep wondering why we havent been able to pick up any of their signals, or to get them to reply to a signal we sent out, but I really think, they may not even use a signal based communications, or if they do, it is SOOOO different than anything we could dream of, we wouldnt recognize their 'signals' even if it was right in front of us.

Most people that are into this, imo, try to equate OUR technology to theirs, thinking this is the way to find out about them, but if they are SOOO much different than us, it may be impossible for us to even recognize or understand how they communicate, how they make their spacecraft operate, etc.

I would even go as far to say their mathematics may even be much different than how we understand it, so on their home planet, 2+2 may equal 5, or 10!

I think the truth about them (and their technology) is just beyond what humans can even comprehend.

If you look at 99.9% of UFO sightings going back decades, they are mostly the same, someone or a group of people see a strange craft, either hovering in one spot, or zipping around the sky, it is rare for anyone to see one landed, on the ground, it has happened, but extremely rare...so we must ask, what the hell could they be doing? Maybe they are taking or using some kind of natural resource here on earth, maybe its something we dont even know about, or its useful properties, maybe whatever it is, is not even compatible with any kind of technology we use?

There is obviously something here though, that has kept them coming here for likely centuries...our Govt probably does know a bit more than they let on, but maybe its best if the public does not know their intent or purposes...as it may be quite frightening for us, maybe all the stories about them abducting people for crazy medical experiments are true!
 
Maybe they are within ourselves. Maybe we are that drop of water in someone´s microscope. They are here all the time ime.
Like I said once, the Earth in the world in just a tiny little thing. And do you think that´s it? No. Of course not..
