Me too which is possibly why I thought it was still in place. Dog licences definitely aren't needed these days and haven't been for ages now. And watching TV on tinternet is perfectly legal without a licence as long as it's not live (which is presumably what that thingy Knock quoted says but haven't read it cos I had to go through all this when the licence folk were hassling me). Basically, you can use iPlayer, 4oD and the like without a licence but not *sites I probably shouldn't name here* which show live streamed UK television.

This is possibly the sum total of my knowledge of the world of licences. Aside from a passing familiarity with the convict variety.
 
You're younger than me, so if you remember radio licences then maybe you're thinking of CB radios? But I never had a CB so I'm not sure if you did need licences. Do you remember that craze? I didn't really get what was so exciting about talking to middle-aged men over an electronic system :sus: You live and learn.
 
We used to play whats the time mr wolf, and on one occasion i organised a large number of pupils to do a picket demonstartion for "dinner money down" after watching something simillar happen on Grange Hill. I didnt really give a shit about the price of dinner money, i wasnt paying for it, it was so embarrasing having to see the headmaster afterwards seeing as i had 'orchestrated' the whole thing. :o
 
it was easy when i had some people with me, not so easy facing the headmaster alone, he could be quite an intimidating figure. Looking back now, Im amazed i actually did that. I definately was not taking drugs at that age.

Sadly things did not go as they did in Spartacus, when everyone was asked "whos idea was all this" i didnt say "it was mine" only to have every one say the same thing. I was royally grassed up immediately. My followers had no loyalty.

Was just a bit shocked, that' all. Not being condescending in attitude towards our beloved brimzino; rather trying to accentuate his hardcoreness. It's a akin to...I dunno... Shambles losing his temper. Or, Knock giving out sources, Albion being mischievous... SHM being positive... or PTCH saying something clever.

When these people defy the expectations that their online persona's give them, pointing it out is not sterotyping them... rather praising a beautiful, unexpected moment and paying homage to their beloved EADD character.

I'd explain this better but... No, I'm not even drunk... Just particularly tired tonight.

IF you paid attention, you'll see he's mentioned radio 4 before, mentions Polly all the time ... and, much to Spade's disbelief (that it's possible someone accepting govnt financial help ) Brimz even likes gourmet (farmer's market style) sausages now and again *GASP, IMPOSSIBLE!*

He even advised us to listen to tweet of the week, I think that was radio 4 too, where they tweeted the sound of a different bird everyday on twitter for you to learn ... and by bird, I don't mean one in a skirt.

People choose what they want to see ... and when that's the case it's best to have yer eyes open and see everything to avoid incorrect judgements
