Benzos Any way to POTENTIATE Benzos? (Valim in Particular)

Hi guys,

is there any way to make effects of valium stronger, I got 10mg left and my RC vendor let me down with slow shipping and that's all I have for 2 tine. I'm gonna use it after a techno rave when I get back home after taking ecstasy, mby some other stimulants to help me get to sleep. Obviously I don't wanna IV or IM, I've heard ppl snort benzos, but I don't think it's a great idea, or is it ?

got some great pot and can grab an alcoholic cocktail on my way back from the party, but are there any other ways to potentiate benzos ?

White grapefruit juice and/or tonic water should potentiate both valium & xanax. I've tried this myself one time with xanax and did notice a small difference in efficacy, so it does work IME. At least with alprazolam. =D
 
Honestly just a beer/cocktail or two with your V at the end of the night and you'll be out like a light. More so if you have a j on the go.
 
I am also interested in enhancing the Valium because it is the benzo that I have prescribed.

I know that omeprazole power to Valium because inhibits its metabolism and thus preventing its removal so increasing blood levels of diazepam and extending the half-life.

Drinking a combination of grape juice and tonic water before taking Valium, power much Valium?

And cimetidine, is an OTC drug or require prescription?

Next week I will try to buy Tagamet without prescription
 
If you're messing around with medications that increase the blood level of diazepam, it's functionally equivalent to just taking more. Expect to develop a tolerance to any "improvements" you might gain by potentiating them.

If is OTC in U.S. it will be also in Spain. The next week I'll buy Tagamet.
 
But encouraging a dose of 10 mg. you spend less diazepam than taking 20 mg. and with potentiation diazepam lasts longer and you will catch more game plus also increasing doses you increase tolerance but enhancing not.

Very true, and sekio is right on all accounts, but if you have a finite amount of pills per month, which you take on schedule (and therefore have no "extras"), you can use polydrug potentiation or synergistic enzyme inhibition to occasionally catch a buzz from you Rx'd dose.

In addition to all methods named above, drugs which create more free GABA in the brain (I.E. Picamilon) have an ASTOUNDING degree of potentiation to benzo's.

Dosing plain GABA as a supplement will not work.

In addition, barbiturates such as phenobarbital, even in small amounts, produce a profound synergy with BZDs - lowering dosing requirements by more than 50%. The resulting intoxication is also more euphoric.

I find a small dose of Kava Kava, right at the "peak" of the benzo AUC, will induce a euphoric, pleasant temporary boost of serenity.

A nice cup of green tea or two, or some strong dark chocolate can help mitigate feelings of malaise\lethargy without detracting from the calm.

60mg of DXM will slow tolerance and also add a warmth in the background. I like to take 60mg DXM + 25mg diphenhydramine with 30mg Temazepam.

To top it all off, carbamates such as carisoprodol and even methocarbamol, which activate GABA receptors even in the absence of GABA (unlike benzos), will likewise create a synergy, although not as profound as some of the rest.
 
I used to take kratom, hydroxyzine, kava and clonazepam ..to get really comfy sometimes all together but even just kratom and a benzo gives me a nice mild euphoria. Honestly though, when i take a bzd with alcohol alone does the trick (just be careful not to over do it) alcohol and benzos have a synergistic depressant effect on the central nervous system.. so you'll be much more sedated. I like to take a valium or klonopin with a few cocktails sometimes before bed.

Honestly though, I'd keep it with just the weed and the alcohol. Don't wanna overdo it ;P
 
WGFJ Will not do too much for Diazepam, although it works quite well for the triazolo BZDs (alprazolam, triazolam, etizolam, etc)
 
With Xanax I always found WGFJ just increased the sedation while Tagamet actually made it feel stronger.
 
Hmm that's odd - WGFJ and tagamet do the same thing for Alprazolam - inhibit the main enzyme responsible for it's break down (CYP3A4).

Tagamet (cimetidine) has the advantage of inhibiting other enzymes, but Alprazolam doesn't make use of those other pathways to any appreciable extent IIRC...

Are you a heavy tobacco smoker, Snake_Eyes?
 
Nope haven't touched the stuff in 22 years.

Maybe the difference had to do with tolerance. I used Tagamet in the earlier days of my benzo use when I was only taking them a couple times a week. I tried the GFJ after my use became more regular.
 
Does tobacco effect Xanax? I thought tobacco primarily induced CYP1A2 which doesnt have much effect on alprazolam.
