my ancestors relied on mainly animal products during the winter for possibly thousands of years; definitely enough time to evolve specific enzymes for animal products. I was vegan for about 2 years and decided to eat a huge stake one day, I had no digestive problems at all. umm, mexicans are a mix of mediterranean spanish and indigenous central american.....not exactly nordic
