I've been trying a bit of photography of late, really need to invest in a better camera but its surprising what you can achieve with a little £100 Digital.
This is one of my favs from last spring time
If i start a photography thread, will you post more of your snaps? I've got a ton of shots and personal pics from walks n life stuff that i've taken but have no place to post em really, since theyre not technically good (or artistic), just some of them are interesting I suppose
i've got a £100 digital too - a fuji finepix S5600 point n shoot and I need a better one, although this is pretty decent for the price and really simple to use. I get the opportunity for some quite decent shots while on long walks through the wolds n stuff but it's pretty limited. i want a better one that i can still just point n shoot, but one that has a better macro, mines only 10cm I think.
the shots below are mainly from walking/days out over the last few years. i am not a photographer, even remotely. I dont have the patience with photoplop either, so none of these have been fucked with. although, that's more than a little obvious

... they're pretty much just snapshots but i love taking them. none of them are technically good.
if these show up too big or whutnot, then please edit or rejig em mods
taken at a local yearly fair: (he got printed in the local paper/rag, without credit due to a blogbint stealing it for her column. the paper sent me an apology though)

can't find the original of this one unfortunately, just this small resize. this kitty followed us on a walk. it's at the top of heptenstall village[sp?] during a walk in Hebden bridge/hardcastle craggs one of my fave places to walk. friendliest cat ever. t'was a baking hawt day and the meadow just behind the cat was still uncut and ace
