My friend has only a few experiences with benzos.. One experience where 3+ mg of Lorazepam with no tolerance resulted in him only having a few 5 second memories in his mind of the whole day.. He was with his family that day, and from their accounts, he was doing some crazy shit until he passed out in the evening.. He remembered only taking 1 to 1.5 mg and getting a nice buzz (but apparently his judgement was bad from that dose) and then taking the rest for some stupid reason.
He has heard of similar stories of how benzodiazepines can make someone very intoxicated while they only feel a little buzzed, and then becoming a "drugbot" who takes even more benzos or other drugs under the influence.. Or perhaps forgetting and redosing over and over.. Geez.. It is good they aren't very toxic compared to most CNS depressants.
He has a couple more experiences with benzos.. One time he only had 10mg of diazepam (Valium) alone, and another time where 1 mg alprazolam (Xanax) and 5mg of diazepam was consumed.. He had no issues then and acted normal..
So is their any tips to help avoid blackouts or amnesia from benzos? Perhaps dose in small doses and then keep the rest of the stash put away to help prevent unwittingly or compulsively redosing while intoxicated? And are some benzos less or more amnesic than others? Where would etizolam rank?
Thanks in advance, and mods, if this is in the wrong forum, I apologize.
