Recovery Another detox attempt.... U-47700 and Tianeptine.

Yes I agree. Stay away!! These RCs have some nasty side effects. It's just not worth it, trust me! I'm doing good with just using Kratom. I want to stop that soon though. I do still wake up feeling crappy and Kratom gets me feeling better. I just want to wake up not feeling sick!

God, I can only imagine how shitty it would be getting dependent on one of the newer fentanyl analogues, detoxing would be fucking painful. Heroin and opium are bad enough for me thank you very much.

Haha they're pretty bad. It's no cake walk. It's bad because the constant need to redose and the increase in tolerance that sky rockets in such a quick amount of time.

It makes me happy to hear you say that about the loperamide because I am trying this route tomorrow to stop H. And as terrified as I am, I think this is going to help tremendously! Any suggestion on dosage to start?

Are you going to use it just to stop the runs or to treat the acute, more intense effects of withdrawal? How bad is your habit? I would suggest you start at 20mg and work your way up, 10mg each hour until you feel okay, not going over 100mg. Beware if you have heart issues or have a history of siezures it may be dangerous at the higher doses. It is also super dehydrating, so make sure you stay hydrated and try not to stress your heart out or mix it with other drugs like simulants (including caffiene), benzos or alcohol, as that will increase the chances or having heart issues and other potentially nasty side effects at the mega doses or loperamide. Best of luck compañero!

I was talking to her earlier - She want's to use it to help take some of the withdrawals away.
I agree with toothpastedog - 20 mg to 30 mg to start then increase 5 to 10 mg until you start feeling better.

You're not going to feel 100% but it helps A LOT - also like I suggested before, Try some Kratom!
Kratom, Lope, and a small amount of benzos SAVED ME.

Yup, that would be an amazing combo. It really is the next best thing if you cannot get your hands on any buprenorphine or methadone to detox.

Hey if I can get up and move and have sweats and just be sore I am happy. The other times I have CT I am curled up in a ball in bed moaning and can't even move or don't want to too pee. I am super ocd and if I can't get up and move and take care of my house it makes my anxiety even worse which leads me to want to use....
So I am hoping I can still function on some level w the lope and Kratom. Can you explain to me how to make the Kratom into a tea? The toss and wash is not gonna cut it, that was terrible when I test drove that way the other day lol. I appreciate you chatting with me on FB today I am sure I will be leaning on you a lot tomorrow as well, BUT hopefully I won't need to because I won't feel TOO bad. All the info on this forum has been a life saver. And I did NOT know this thread was you, you did go thru hell! Good for you coming out in the other side, you are truly an inspiration! Ok off to do my last shot, then tomorrow morning lope and Kratom it is for me from now on:... Well for the next week anyway. Wish me luck!

Isn't it weird? Most people that use don't have ocd, but most people with OCD use. I guess its the control thing, and quieting a chaotic mind, erasing fear.

Just an update, I'm doing good still.
I have only been taking Kratom.
I will begin my taper off that in time, I don't want to rush anything.
The kratom, for now, is keeping me off all the harder stuff.

I do wake up feeling a little crappy until I dose my Kratom so I know I have a little dependency but nothing too horrible.
I'm just glad I'm not sticking a needle in my arm :)

Great news Wow0mg! I'm so proud of you! I didn't think you would get to this point so quickly and be maintaining so well - I give you mad credit for pulling it together. I sincerely hope you are proud of your accomplishments, and knowing that you serve as a great example to others in similar situations. If kratom is the worse thing that your doing, imo you're golden. Take your time getting off it. Like you said - no rush. Kudos!

Yeah, you are doing really, really well! I too am very proud of you, and I sincerely hope you are mindful of what you are accomplishing and the accomplishments to come once you have gotten off the kratom. Remember that there is no rush, do it at your own pace and you will do just fine. Keep up the good work my friend! <3

Thanks so much, both of you!
I am very happy with myself, I have changed my people, places, and things too, which helped a lot.
I honestly couldn't have done it without the help of all of you.
You all are always in my thoughts and heart.
I love you all so so much!
<3

Awesome, that is just so nice to hear, seriously, I am bery proud of you. I wish you nothing but the best and continues successed in your endevours.

If and when you make a mistake or less than skillful decision, may you get right back up, dust yourself off and get back on the path you have chosen for yourself.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks so much toothpastedog!
I will not give up no matter what!
I have been fighting addiction since I was 16,
I finally feel like things are getting better.

Sadly for Kratom, there is a new bill that's trying to pass to ban Kratom in my state.
Kratom will be a schedule 1, it's heart breaking.

I think they're making a huge mistake. This is actually helping people. North Carolina doesn't have much in the means of recovery - I hope this doesn't pass as they're further restricting valid treatment available for addicts as well as treatment for those with chronic pain. This is unfortunate indeed.

I agree!!
The bill was slipped in so fast without any sort of additional research on it, they're just trying to join the circle jerk.
It irks me really badly to think about how ignorant some of these people are.
The media of course does not make it any better saying its just as addictive as heroin.

They even said that people that died from overdosing from MULTIPLE drugs in their system, one being Kratom, Kratom was to blame for the overdoses.
That is a complete lie!
There's a ceiling with Kratom, you would get sick before you ever could overdose on it!

proud of you, w0w. very fucking awesome dude. keep it up, and enjoy not being sick - you earned it. love you

Same bill just passed in my state and is awaiting the governors signature.
