The sordid details of Amy Winehouse's final hours emerged today, with claims that she bought a cocktail of narcotics including cocaine, ecstasy and ketamine.

The daily mirror reports that she died from a bad ecstasy pill, then a few lines beneath its an ecstasy overdose. Fails to mention the fact that no postmortem has been done.

It sad but not totally unexpected. It's a shame because she actually is a good singer atleast certainly compared to the arseholes around now.

somehow she died on "narcotics" of which none are actually narcotics? how does that work? But yea if she was doin that shit then she must have done alot because i did the exact same combo at a festi not too long ago and i did great, and id venture to say here tolerance was higher than mine. Its funny but sad how almost every poster has said that this was not in the least unexpected. Rest in peace girl!

The tabloids now report that the police found no drugs at her place. What? No drugs? Oh well. If confirmed, her demise and death will now be completely useless to them: how are they going to use the opportunity to demonize bad illegal drugs now? Come on! She must have used a bit of meow meow or ecstasy. Vodka will not cut it: it IS legal! And as such has never killed anyone. Ever... </sarcasm>

Suprised it did not happen sooner!! I did not care for her music, but yes it sucks when anyone dies, but she was a drug user, like myself and many others and it comes with the territory!
