potentiate the euphoria? (title got cut off)
I first off want too make it clear that I am fully aware of how dangerous it is to combine a potent stimulent like amphetamine/methamphetamine with another potent stimulant like cocaine. This is entirely hypothetically speaking as I have never even done meth and don't do cocaine anymore.
Anyways, in theory shouldn't dosing amphetamines/methamphetamine prior to using cocaine (or any other dopamine re-uptake inhibitor, such as ethylphenidate or methylphenidate) increase the euphoria drastically? I'm talking even in just small doses of each because:
Amphetamine is primarly a dopamine/norepinephrine RELEASER of stored or newly synthesized dopamine & norepinephrine & a bit of serotonin.
Cocaine on the other hand basically traps dopamine from being allowed back into the receptors via DNRI, (dopamine/norephine re-uptake inhibition),
because biologically, cocaine acts as a serotonin–norepinephrine–dopamine reuptake inhibitor, also known as a triple reuptake inhibitor (TRI).
Sooo theoretically, if amphetamines/methamphetamine release massive amounts of dopamine, and then cocaine inhibits these "feel good, euphoria causing" chemicals from re-uptaking, shouldn't you get double or more the euphoria from the high. (as I've read meth can release up to 1200% more dopamine than is regularly active in the brain at once, where as if I remember correctly cocaine only releases around 300-400% more dopamine, but also prevents re-uptake which is what causes the more sudden euphoric high compared to meth, but only lasts for a much shorter period of time, because cokes half life is far shorter than the half life of amphs/methamph)
Larger amounts of dopamine are going to be active in the brain then either of those stimulants alone would allow, theoretically.
Once again this is entirely theoretically speaking, and I really have no solid evidence proving this would work, and I know that combining potent stims is asking for a heart attack and should never be done regardless, but just entirely theoretically speaking if you were to say, combine a low dose of meth, like say 30-50mg's insufflated/orally consumed, and then snorted cocaine after in just small amounts after (like 20-50mg lines, reasonably spaced out), would this not provide a far more euphoric high, or at least far more euphoric high than 50mg's of meth alone, or 50mg's of cocaine alone would provide?
