Am I about to have a heart attack?

WTF,

Chest pain can come from sudden anxiety too,

If you notice a bump in the heart rate "like 1.2.3.4.5.6 ---- pause..7.8.9 " , very common irregulaty even in young persons (heart skips a beat) extrasystole

that might panic you and will tense your muscles around the suspected area of chest thus causing the pain.

Patients with heart attack don't act so damn paranoid.
 
I know I'm a fucking retard. But so now that the symptoms have passed should I be all right? I still have some numbness, and hot/cold flashes, feel slight dizziness sometimes when walking but nothing too bad. When I lay down and just relax I feel fine. Should I still go to ER?

ok i dont mean to be insensitive here, but this is starting to get annoying, and more then that, ridiculous. first off you are asking people over the internet if you. "will still live". do you honestly think ANYONE can answer that besides a doctor who is examining you?
second off, no one is going to take responsibility here for what might happen to you. you cannot put us in that position.
third, you have asked the same question 10 times now, and each time you have been given the same answer. you are probably fine, but if you are concerned (which you are) go to the god damn hospital. it seems like you are waiting for someone to say, "you are fine dont worry and dont bother going to the hospital." no one is going to do that for you. we shouldnt, we cant, and we wont.

Panic attack causes one to fear for another attack, it is natural.

You can wait hour or two , then you can be sure there ain't anything to worry about.

But, next time you can limit your shot a bit, so you don't freak out.

HC users use benzos, because they can get higher, without the fear of panic attack.
 
welcome to the world of haveing a od. i have the same thing happen to me. i layed off for the rest of the night. i didnt go to the hospital but i made that desicion not saying ti was the best one but im still alive.

Panic attack is a real crippling feeling, it is most painful set of emotions one can experience.

So OP, you're fine. Your pal , who was coming to you, right, can check that you will be fine?

You have absolutley no idea of what you are talking about. Anxiety attacks are precipitated from ap psychological stimuli. Not a shot of coke to the arm!
You "tense your muscles" theory is wrong. Madmike, tense your muscles for 10 minutes and tell me if the pain shoots down your arm.

Don't downplay the level of this fuckup.
1) Wrong dosage
2) Wrong route
3) Wrong place to come to with concern

You just want that this rookie gets some counceling at the ER.

They can really come from chemical stimuli also. I feel always pain in my left side of chest when I am panicking. It is a lot worse when you're high, as your mind can't figure it out.

One can make multiple forum posts in a panic attack, but not in a heart attack. It is that incapacitating.

EveryStar please DO still go to hospital. I had a friend once who ignored a minor episode and subsequently died a few days later from a massive attack. If you've done some damage then you need to know and frankly, you won't be too stable and hospital is the best place to be.

Everyone else, I'd like to say please give this kid a break. He's underage, frightened and ill. It's not the fucking time to lecture. I can remember being his age and doing some awful things which with hindsight I was lucky to survive.

Listen, I'm of an age (and depending on yours) where I could probably be your mother. Believe me, if it was my son, all that would concern me now would be are you OK? I'd even say, tell them. They will give you credit for courage and honesty if nothing else. If they're like every other normal parent they'll not be angry, not now, just very worried. These things I know aren't trivial but believe me they are compared with taking risks with your life.

Please go to hospital - it would make me feel happier. Regarding your forum membership, future drug use - this can all be sorted later. Just get in that sodding ambulance and tell them the truth! This isn't the crime of the century, nothing's been stolen, nobody but you is hurt.

I bet everyone is a whole lot more concerned and understanding than some of this forum for a start. Sure, shred an adult to bits. But not a kid ffs.

You seem very genuinely compassionate, so I mean no disrespect to you. But this is the time to tear him a new one.
It's not his fear, or anxiety thats annoying, its that he asked for advice, got it, and then waited for the advice that he wanted to hear. That's dangerous.
 
I do admit you have a point there. If he'd been in the UK, I'd have got his sodding mobile number off him and got an ambulance myself!

There again, I've had the experience of being in an irc channel all night when someone OD'd and not a single person did anything to get help.

His partner found him lying in a coma after an OD of ecstasy at 7 am the next day. He never did totally recover and was in a coma 5 days. At least he lived. But I swore never again would I just do nothing in a similar situation. This guy failed to admit he'd had the 14 tabs of what was strong mdma but mixed with something dangerous (14 tabs!) because we'd paid him to get us some and he'd "eaten" our supply. Christ, as though that mattered!
 
I too won't like to overlook this situation. But I myself have been couple times in ER just to get someone to say "You're OK"

But it easily get's into habit, that you overdo everything thinking , I will be resurrected if it gets bad, and just don't take responsibility on your own hands.
 
I realise that .... but while that is very true, it's also true that coke is not schedule II for no reason. Ideally, I want him to tell his parents, with his mate if he likes, and get his dad to take him. If it was me I'd only be glad he'd found the courage to admit what he'd done and the sense to seek help even though he probably would have survived without it. He really did seem terrified to go to hospital and I absolutely know what that feels like.

He's 16 - that's an age where people act insanely anyway. But the immediate priority is now. I hope he won't be banned until he's been able to let us know how it turned out.
 
Fat fatfat lines of speed, what is this pain in back of my head, I just don't fucking care , it goes away if I drink enough vodka and beer, then let's dance like there is no tomorrow.

That is what I was thinking the last time with stimulants :)
 
Emerald, he should definitely not admit he's taken cocaine. You don't need that on your medical record, it can fuck up getting prescribed decent drugs in the future. If he goes to hospital it will likely be a wasted evening. OP; see your GP on Monday.

this is how i feel when i had panic attacks^^^^. esp after smoking too much heady weed, or doing too much coke. i'd guess your fine, i'm no doctor so if you feel like wasting 3 or 4 hours go to the hospital. then again you could not go and waste your entire life. but my assumption would be that you're fine and you are just freaking out.

dude shut up. you've obviously never had a panic attack. like a REAL panic attack. Your mind is a powerful thing...I've felt all sorts of symptoms that existed no where except my mind. I've gone to the ER before when i was having a panic attack because i was completely certain i was having a heart attack and knew i was going to die.

as far as lecturing: don't shoot coke if you're a minor...jesus wtf?! don't shoot coke period. do you know anyone who can say "shooting coke was the best decision I ever made" ????
