Opioids alprazolam addicition..

In the past two week, i;ve gone through about 200mg of alprazolam..everyday dosing.

I am not currently just about out of my stash, I have alot 2.5 -3 mg left.

Do you all think I will feel any withdrawals after this relatively short, but high daily dosing i;ve been abusing?

I know its hard to say for sure, as everyone is different.. but I have a VERY addicive personally and " drug seeking" mindset, if you may.

U probably will have rebound anxiety and a few other withdrawal symptoms,
hopefully nothing too extreme....
`Because of the really high dosages.

if u can get some Diazepam or other benzo on hand, if nothing else just get Zopiclone or Zolpidem,
because you might need to do a short one week taper.

Day 1: 2x0,5mg
Day 2: 3x0,25mg
day 3: 2x0,25mg
day 4: 2x0,25mg
day 5: 1x0,25mg
day 6: 5mg ambien at night
day 7: 5mg ambien at night

always dose benzo's towards nighttime if u r facing withdrawal.

a 2 week taper might even be necessary becoz of the high doses but maybe not.
 
Were you using alprazolam at any amount BEFORE your mega-binge? Or did you just dive right in and go nuts first time around?

Either way, there are few people who would get away with doing 200mg over two weeks without having some nasty, nasty rebound effects. You don't need to be physically dependent on benzos to experience rebound anxiety and/or depersonalisation.

Are you saying you have 2.5 to 3mg left? and you say that's "a lot"? Or was that a typo and you meant to say "about 2.5-3mg left"?

Because if you only have 2 or 3mg left it's not going to do much to relieve the rebound effects. Doing 200mg in just two weeks is a really, really awful idea. However, I can actually empathise with you because benzos are extremely insidious and they're like mind-traps - they remove your logic and reason, but you think you haven't been affected.

I wish you the best of luck, and please report back and tell us how you are doing and what your post-binge experience is/was like.
 
Seriously 200 mg in 2 weeks? Dah-amn. What is that work out to? A bit less than 15 mg a day. I think there is no way you are stopping that abruptly and not feeling a bit off, even if you never touched a benzo before (and somehow I doubt that if you had a binge like that). I would at least cut down the dosage over the last couple days, a rapid taper so to speak.

I remember someone had a similar question on another thread, basically same situation but confirmed not prior benzo use and was doing only 3 mg a day. Everyone was reassuring him there wouldn't be physical withdrawal, I kind of disagreed, but it would be tolerable. The same can be said here, except you are bound to feel some physical w/d effects. Its hard to say how bad, some people don't seem to get benzo w/d that bad and others would rather death.
 
Jesus, that is a lot of alprazolam. Even at my worst I wouldn't be able to handle more than a few days at doses over 10mg/day. Weren't you blacked out the whole time basically?

It generally takes more than a couple weeks do develop a physical dependence to benzo's but that is at therapeutic dosages which you were far above. Like you said there are a few factors. One important factor is whether you've ever had a physical dependence to a GABAergic before. If you did you may be in for a significantly worse withdrawal. Either way be prepared for an intense yet relatively brief withdrawal period. If you're prone to seizures I would advise you seek medical attention.
 
Hel yea your going to get withdrawal. Id wait about 24 hours after your last dose.. and take 0.25 mgs of xanax every 6 hours until it runs out. Your definitely gonna have a few rough days.. (may a week or more.. ahead of you)
 
Well, unfortunately, I don't get any access to ANY Benzo, until my Alprazolam arrives ( which my be up to a week ). So I suppose all I can do is tough it out...

Yes, I know the doses I take are quite bit higher than the normal dose.... but what can I say? If i administer less, I don't feel the effect; it's as simple as that.

Oh, Ive used it for a for about a month, a little less than a year ago.

But my recent recreational use or "self medication" of alprazolam has been about 2 weeks in total.

You're not likely to pick up a real dependency after only 2 weeks (that is if you've never been physically addicted in the past. If you have been, then you become dependent again much faster). You'll definitely get some rebound effects though.
 
Interesting, Well Im not sure if i was totally dependent in the past. But when I stopped in the past it definitely not fun, I got sweat, hot flashes/chills, ect.
 
I usually wrap up my binges with cannabis. It helps me reset.

The only reason I say that is because it sounds like you are gonna need something to soften a blow like that one.
 
Dude you're going to be kicking pretty hard, def gonna need some bud. That's a massive dose that you just saturated your brain in it since it was daily. Then going to nothing at all? Like a shock to the brain, hope you don't get seizures easily.

That's like a clean heroin addict takes 3g's of raw over 3 days. How you think he's gonna be feeling the next couple days?

. I have just used this substance on like week or 2 week benges it seems like.. lol.. I know that sounds and is horrible. I have no script for it.
 
Well it was a littler over a week that i went basically "cold turkey", up until just today ( re-upped ). And in that whole last week or more where I went with absolutely NO benzo's of any type, I didn't feel very bad WD symptoms at all. The fist few days mabe a littler worse, but after a couple days, really too note.

Just gotta man up.

SO now im back to a regular dose, probs around 6mg /day perhaps more on occasion.
