Allergic to LSD?! (pictures)

maybe you should re-read my post, or at least explain why you think you can be certain the original poster is trying to be deceptive. no one here agrees with you. i think that says something.

so you're implying majority is always right?

Also I'd like to add to this statement as being entirely false, from just one of my own personal experiences. For instance, I had an allergic reaction from getting stung by a hive-full of bees. I'm not allergic to bees, so it didn't kill me but my body was definitely in a fight-or-flight situation. However, I didn't experience any of the reaction until approximately 3-4 hours later. Wherein the first initial signs of the reaction beginning, was around the time my arm-pits swelled up to the size of grape-fruits. Then from there, it just started getting out of hand (hospitalized), but again this was all three to four hours later!

What utter twaddle. It is a correct statement as an allergic reaction is defined as one where the allegern in question starts in motion a series of reactions that eventually result in the release of dangerous amounts of histamine from mast cells. Allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) to injected allergens happens within minutes and generally has some immunological response. What you had with the bees was a toxic reaction to the venom contained in bee stings, which is a totally different thing.

I've noticed you makinmg these incorrect statements in a couple of threads, so can I suggest you actually look in a textbook before spouting any more bollocks of this nature

Modern medicine is a sham, especially Western

PS I thought you were of the opinion that western medicine was a sham? I notice you changed your opinion once the bee venom started to take hold...

here's one word I know the meaning of,'hypocrasy' - I think you might want to look it up in the dictionary sometime

the original poster already said "the blotter paper we had didnt have any ink or anything on it. it was just white".

i don't mean any personal offense to you but as a "senior moderator" shouldn't you at least read through threads before responding? (or perhaps you did and you just missed it?)

Holds up hands! I probably got the thing about dye allergies in my head and started on that after quickly scanning through the post (just read blotter and instantly envisioned something soaked in bold colourful dyes, like most are :) )

All I would like to add is NUTS! ;)

Yes, I'm sure of all the OP could find to pull our legs about is having a big lip. No he wouldn't claim to have a rare drug nobody has ever seen, or make up some idiotic crap. He'd come here and post a picture of an over sized lip from a possible allergic reaction. We have a 99.9 percent chance that this is just like UFO sightings and will be on the news. Of all the things for this guy to pull our leg about, an over sized lip. People need to think before they post. Why would anyone lie about this?

thank you :)

its possible....Second time i did shrooms i got a lump above my eyebrow the diameter of a quarter. I thought i was just tripping out but then i asked my friend and his brother (his bro was sober) and they confirmed it =S. Ive done shrooms about 4 times after this and never got the same reaction.....weird stuff

of course not. but when not a single person agrees with you, if you want to convince those people of your position, you're going to have to do more than simply claim i don't know what i'm talking about. you're going to have to actually provide rebuttals.

Of course there is always the possibility that you are a fluke, but, like most everyone else has said, it's unlikely it was the acid. LSD does have action at histamine receptors, but from has been studied it blocks them- and actually decreases most peoples' sensitivity to allergens. There was a study about some doctor who supposedly cured his allergy to cats with LSD..

what u got was probablt not LSD but AMT cuz LSD blotters usually have colored designs

i read an trip report on erowid about someone that did an AMT blotter and thinking it was LSD

"The seller at his house gave us each two large, white, featureless paper squares and directed us to chew them until they dissolved. I remember thinking I was disappointed that the paper didn't have any cool blotter design on it"

heres the link: http://www.erowid.org/experiences/exp.php?ID=28689
this is another link for the AMT vault: http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/amt/

if youre sure the blotter was really LSD well maybe it was just an allergic reaction from something else that was on the blotter too.

If it indeed was not LSD, it could have been 5-MeO-AMT, not AMT... two totally different drugs.

Let's all stop the bickering here, please. Why would you come in here and assume the OP was lying, and then proceed to totally derail the thread?

UPDATE:

i got some of the EXACT same stuff from the same person and ended up candy flippin for the first time friday night.. now i know it wasnt the exact same situation bc i was on ecstasy with the acid but nothin weird happened this time. everything went good. maybe i just ate somethin that i had never ate before that i happened to be allergic to. not sure

oh btw: if u havent candyflipped before.. the OMG u gotta try it. definately one of the most amazing nights of my life

lol, I hope you figure out the problem and glad you're okay, but wow... ur lip is huge- i can imagine u looking in the mirror and imagining u thinking ur tripping, how funny.

IS IT SAFE TO TAKE ANTI - HISTAMINE DRUGS ON LSD, i always have fucked up sinuses when im trippin on acid.

i would just like to add that i have a lot of food allergies and nothing like that has ever happened to me.

sometimes my lips will tingle but more often than not the reaction is an itchy feeling in my throat or the roof of my mouth, tongue feeling a little swollen, itchy sinuses, etc.
