Just started to recognise this as an issue of late. Am sort of suprised that I'm getting a bit down over it too, not my normal reaction to suchlike.
I'm touching 45....even up to 5 or 6 years ago I could pretty much outparty anyone in sight and was usually one of the last on the dance floor at the all-nighters and so on. I was slim and felt vital and I suppose still felt young in some ways and always had interest from the opposite sex.
Now a mere few years later I feel fat (put a couple of stone on after kicking the fags), feel decidedly unattractive, cannot take the pace anymore in general and have practically forgotten how to dance. I used to fucking love dancing and was a fluid groove machine (lol)...feel stunted and awkward with it now, miss it like hell really.
I'm far from a hopeless case, and recognise the gifts that come with ageing as well as the downsides, but am still definitely feeling deflated due to the above....anmybody similar?
