Advanced tripping: 2.0

I chose the wrong topic title, with 'advanced' I didn't mean reckless/neurotoxic.
Jesusgreen his ideas are wonderful :) I'll channel my energy into something useful.

But the holes in your brain is what makes it exciting!
Lol, kidding.

Go see a Monster Truck show.

You will be a super pro if you can keep it together when you are peeking and there is thousands of people sitting next to you, including various forms of children, teenagers, and more, not to mention the thousand horsepower beasts down below you spitting fire and interacting with whatever compounds you are on causing fractals to be shot out of their tailpipe and into your soul :)

- Go through a normal day tripping. This does NOT mean driving, going to work, operating machinery etc - but a weekend when you're free, eat breakfast, dose, take the dogs for a walk, go do the shopping (walk there of course!), meet up with friends, watch some TV, etc :)

Seconded...wait, thirded? Fourthed?

One of the best trips I ever had peaked at the coffee shop. I took about 13 mg of 2C-E on a beautiful fall day and went for a walk. I visited a friend who was working on a video project, who asked me to walk to the cafe to get him an espresso. Even now, years later, I still thrill at the way milk mixes into a cup of coffee, plumes of white swirling and interdigitating with dark brown, forming beautiful folds upon folds, exploding across the side of the clear glass mug...

I digress. Also the zoo is pretty awesome. I like to watch the elephants eat hay.

Go to a large museum and spend the day there -- outdoor sculpture parks and natural history museums are my favorite.
I really want to trip in the crystals exhibit at the Smithsonian, but I will need to reach post-grad tripping 4.0 skills before I can handle the intense evil-empire vibes there.

I would really like to try this at a museum one day. Some of them have excellent vibes. As for the dark and creepy ones, just take a low dose.

Hey,

I've tripped around 20 times now.
Does someone some more advanced thing to do while tripping, you wouldn't recommend beginners?
I was thinking myself to combine some lsd and keta in a complete dark environment %)

During my freshmen year of high school my friends and I always had this really odd but fascinating idea of dropping some tabs and isolating ourselves in a completely white room with not objects other than your basic needs whilst tripping (i.e. food water ya know) and buy a large amount of paint in various colors and seeing what our minds do to the walls with the paint. Seems fun.

Awesome thread, loads of banging ideas :D. And I also feel the need to say that any fool can cane a combination of drugs. What I like to do when tripping actually, is try and tackle my irrational fears.

I'm arachnophobic, in fact used to be to the point I wouldn't sleep in a room where I knew there was a fairly big spider, choosing instead to sit up all night in a different room until I'd pass out wherever I was from exhaustion or simply not sleep until I could find someone to remove it. I'm also scared of heights and struggle in places high up enough without getting severe vertigo.

When I trip I try and seek out spiders and other 'creepy crawlies', because when I'm in that state I am overcome with fascination and wonder instead of silly fear that has no use to me. And I'll spend a decent amount of time looking over my friend's balcony and teaching my silly self that there's a railing there that's keeping me safe.

Every time I do this, when sobriety comes along I feel that little bit more comfortable with these things.

When you get more comfortable tripping, if you haven't already start to consider going to see your favourite tripping album artists live. Head to festivals eat your trips! Go for days out, things that you would enjoy stoned/sober/whatever can be enjoyed just as much, if not more tripping. Don't let all these people stirring up massive fear about psychedelics and festivals/outdoors put you off, if you've the mindset for it you'll enjoy it!

The only difference between a rookie and an "experienced" tripper is how they handle the anxiety. The confusion or head fuck of higher doses will floor even seasoned trippers , especially once you enter the public eye. Some would argue only the experience should trip at a large music festival. Some like to test their boundarys by exposing themselves to unusual stimulus such as a shocking movie or intense music and see it as some sort of badge of honor to come through with out incident. Personally I would prefer all my trips to be pleasant so I see no need to try and push these limits.

Being comfortable in public opens many new settings. Art galleries and markets are particularly nice, as can social gatherings with friends. Low doses work better than dick sizing, particularly if you are mixing with sober individuals. It takes experience not to come across as a gibbering idiot. Camping by yourself or a friend requires a level of expertise particularly if you plan on cooking while tripping.

The day I spent jet skiing around one of the islands in the great barrier reef was definitely a test of all my skills, especially when the water police stopped us for a breath test. An experienced tripper knows how to avoid a jail cell ;)

I liked this post. Definitely take it into consideration, monitor your dose and don't try to push yourself. Only do what you are comfortable doing. The reason? You paid hard earned money for those trips for a start, why pay to have a shit time when you could instead be giggling your ass off. And there are plenty of other reasons beyond that.

Sensory overload is one of the things that really gets those new to tripping, I tripped outside in the populated town my first time and really noticed it. But if you are aware of it, it can be okay. Just remember that when you go from inside > outside your likely to experience sensory overload at least for a few minutes if the place is busy. Don't let that ruin your trip, embrace it, it's not everyday you can hear everyone's conversations at once, focus on one, quickly switch to another, etc, etc. As long as you are wanting a good time you'll have one. But do bare in mind, when you start to dose high e.g. 200ug+ (not looking for a dicksize here) you most likely find the headspace get to you a bit more. I do anyway, or if I trip inside for a few hours then say go out to a party after the peak, headspace really gets to you then.

Likewise, I'm uncomfortable with spiders, especially big ones, and I've also spent sleepless nights knowing there was some massive sucker in my room somewhere. When high, you'd think I'd be even more scared of them, but no, I'm just curious.

Also the second time I took acid, I did it around a fireplace. I've always been very, very cautious around fire, to the point where I don't understand how anyone can just stick their hand in to push things around sometimes. Anyway the LSD took away my inhibitions without making me stupid, and I was able to prod sticks and logs to stoke the fire without getting burned, and without being overly cautious. (I don't recommend playing with fire while you're on LSD, by the way.)

Like allot of other people have said psychedelics+dissasociatives is amazing. 2c-e and mxe is such an enjoyable combo. I took a nice bike ride one of the times I did that combo which was very intence. Riding my bike on just mxe and weed is great but adding 2c-e into the equation really took it to another level. It felt like I was flying through space.

Once I mixed salvia then nitrouse rgiht after I exhaled my hit while I was peaking hard on mdma and got transported to the floor of a rain forest. Lots of people may think salvia plus mdma would not be a good combo but I find it very enjoyable and interesting. Maybe it is because I am so comfertable with salvia on its own.

One of my favorite psychedelic challenges is to attempt to gain an appreciation for a new genre or style of music. For example, up until not too long ago, I listened to electronic music almost exclusively, with a handful of exceptions. Then, I listened to the Grateful Dead on 4-HO-MiPT, and then 4-AcO-DMT. Everything started to click into place, and for the first time, I began to enjoy the Dead on the same level that I enjoy psytrance or dubstep. Since then, psychedelics have opened a lot of musical doors for me, and I'm listening to a lot of music that I never would have otherwise touched.

I also find that very powerful psychedelics, like vaporized DMT and DPT, pose a challenge in themselves. Going into the deepest regions of tryptamine hyperspace can be really scary, so learning to fearlessly traverse those realms takes time, effort, and patience.

I would like to know how the OP defines "advanced", though. It's a bit of an ambiguous term. I assumed "advanced tripping" meant, "getting something cool and unique, but difficult-to-attain, out of psychedelics".

Excellent post and definitely agree! (Bar the dubstep. ;) ) Psychedelics have greatly changed my music taste for the better, made me a lot more open to new/odd sounding bits of sound than ever before and you can never enjoy too much music.

I would either do Ayahuasca + mushrooms in a safe wilderness environt as the sun goes down...

oppsedly

you could drink 3 bottles of Robotussin or a box of Mucinex and have an amazing trip in your room (but you WILL shit your pants!)

No offence but you've missed the point motiv. This thread isn't about dicksize dosing.

Cooking is allot of fun while on psychedelics although probely not the safest thing to do. Once on mushrooms I made the most amazing breaded veal. The craziest thing about it was probely that my mom was in the kitchen cooking with me and had no idea of the state of mind I was in.

Tripping 20 times isnt advanced.... especially when you are asking others what to do/ take. what I would do is continue to test and explore more substances before coming and asking others, i doubt youve even have taken 20 different drugs.... not to be a dick just giving you something to think about OP

I tripped a lot more than 20 times. I know this thread can imply something wrong, but I wrote it with good intentions. The topic name is a little bit wrong ;)
Haha sometimes I wish I still hadn't taken 20 different drugs.
In the mean time I started meditating daily 30minutes. Some weeks ago I went to Austria and climbed a day to the top of a mountain, I dropped 400mics lsd with a little bit of amphetamine (both lab tested by the government, amphetamine was racemic 71% and the max is 73% :D ) I meditated for hours and simply enjoyed life.
I took some painting classes, we'll see what'll come out of it in a few months during a trip :D

Kind of a waste of a good trip, but i like tripping saturday nights without the aid of alcohol. Just try and do what the humans do.
I always thought a trip alone in a white room with one black dot on the wall would be interesting, the black dot being the only visual stimulus.
On a similar train of thought, tripping with a piece of gridded graph paper. Get a clear analysis of the extent of the visual distortions.
