Admit something v. Sex, Lies and Videotape edition

I admit I have been trying to get knocked up since December.

I also admit that I forgot when you finally make the decision how bad it sucks to be disappointed every month. Last time it took a year.

I further admit that my period is now three days late so I am getting my hopes up.

And lastly I admit that if it does not happen within the next year I am getting sterilized. I can be happy with one child. It makes me tired to even think about having a young child if I get too much older, and my husband is 12 years older than me. I don't want to be those parents who are mistaken for grandparents....
 
I admit I'm happy that Ms.Gallium got her Depo-Provera shot on the 14th and now we don't really have to worry about her contracting something resembling an anaplastic neoplasm in her abdomen from me.
 
some women put on excessive weight on the depot shot. though most don't. ms. g gonna get fat on you :P
 
@Kynt...lolol...She was scared of it at first... Which is REALLY funny to me, considering her whole being in med school thing (not to mention, fetish/obsession for the imagery of surgical incisions and combat injuries) But just as I told her, the shot did not even sting.

@5HT101 It's a pretty rare side effect, and she is super skinny and does not have a propensity for over eating or gaining weight in general.
 
good deal man. I saw a chick pack on like 10-15 lbs after the shot. I'm assuming due to changes in hormonal levels. she's using the iud now though. I've heard similar reports with birth control pills as well. Idk about implanon (implant) as Idk anyone with it. nuva ring seems to be quite effective with minimal side effects as well. apparently male birthcontrol is still in trials otherwise I'd possibly consider taking it.
 
Meh...you can always stop yourself from putting on weight, I mean...everyone told me I would when I got onto the birth control pill but it changed strictly nothing.
 
I use date a chick who used the Nuva-ring and it would always get caught on my cak while we where banging. lolol.

Plus, the Nuva-ring has a higher risk of thrombosis and stroke than depo shot, and like, as with the pill, you can mess it up/take it out too long and get pregnant. IIRC The depo shot causes total cessation of menstruation too, so no more period week/PMS/cramps for her (and me) to contend with.

Really? I never had a problem with the nuva ring. The only issue is no finger banging.
 
I admit that I once had a fling with my boss, (not my boss anymore,) who was married with 4 kids. At first it was hot, sneaking around. After awhile his wife stopped being such a bitch to me and as I got to know her better I felt like a shithead. We both got tired of it & called it off while staying friends.

I also admit that I haven't found one single person even remotely attractive since my fiance died in July, but I miss having sex & I'm starting to worry that I never will again because no one will ever be HIM. I know it's still kinda soon now, but what if it doesn't change in time?
