Addiction Codeine

So, today i told my shrink i was addicted to opiates...long story short i got prescribed codiene 60mg, 3 a day, to wean off, (no, he cannot prescribe suboxone)... do anyone have sugestion or anything, do u think this will work, im starting in the morning, ill keep it updated...if this doesnt work out im going to a clinic but i hope it does
 
yeah, maybe tell us how much of what you where addicted to.

very roughly/rule of thumb codeine metabolism yields 1/10th of the codeine dose worth of morphine. How does that compare to your habit? if its MUCH lower, you will have some WD's. However, it will help you, and it will make them milder then it would be without them.

ok...id wake up to atleast 30mg just to feel NORMAL...to get high, 200mg...to feel it, around 100mg...an 80oc, snorting it all i dont get i, i just feel better. i dont IV, ive only oral, and nasal, never rectal never needle... ...a day id atleast do 30mg, but if thats all i got iid WD around dinner time and not be able to sleep... but the average a day i was doin is probably roughly around 80mgi think itll work tho i have confidince
 
i think hes talking oxy.

your habit still isnt THAT big comparatively. but for you it could be fuckign HUGE enough to cause you hell. I have to take multiple OC 80s all at once to feel ANY pain releif.....and i know people who need ALOT more than that. just never touch heroin if your struggling this bad with up to point-2 oxy. wait till its a gram of oxycontin........wait STOP RIGHT NOW before you ever get there cause your on a Bad road. if codeines help your wd then you still have a chance to get out (unless you are going to Need pain relief the rest of your life)
 
im guessing you wont feel the codeine.
you at Least need some clonidine and immodium and benzos if you want to do it comfortably. your just on the threshold of "oh shit my monkeys turned into fucking godzilla!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
if it takes a bare minimum of one 80
a t4 is equal to a norco, or around 7.5 mg oxy. i highly doubt thats going to help the situation any
 
The codeine probably wont help, ask for a stronger opiate like hydrocodone and more than 3 pills.
 
i sut popped my 60mg of codiene, i mean i dont mind the mental dependence cuz i can smoke al day..its the fuckin diariha, cramps, all the good shit

ill check in an in hour
 
Personally I don't think that codeine is gonna cut it... that's only equivalent to taking 18mg of morphine orally, IF you took a whole days dose at once. Also, codeine inhibits the enzyme needed to turn itself into morphine, so I don't know how well that second dose is gonna work.
 
the real reason i stopped its cuz like idk the last time i got high, i havent gotten that awesome feeling we all love to loathe...so i mine as welll stop being an addict if im not even gettin high, cuz i aint going to heroin and fuckin my life up...not sayin H fucks ur life up but most peope who do H are fuck ups...there are the select few who do make 6 figures a year but not many

its 60mg 3 times a day...what do u mean the second dose, i dont understtand...
 
^ What I mean is if you took all three codeine tablets at once it would be equivalent to taking 18mg of morphine. If you metabolize it correctly, which some people don't.

The other thing is that codeine inhibits the enzyme that turns it into morphine, which is how it works. Basically all you have to know is that the second tablet of the day may not work as well as the first then.

The next morning you should be fine; in my (long) experience with codeine, waiting around 8 hours or so yields almost full effects from a re-dose. I am talking about doses of at least 400mg though.

It's more like the enzyme gets turned off; you take your codeine, and the enzyme works on converting it into morphine. This causes the enzyme to get tied up, and so re-dosing codeine isn't quite as effective for quite some time after that, a few hours at least.

How many hours do you have between each dose?

In which way do you help the conversion to morphine Mr Blonde?

Is it GFJ etc?

I have heard conflicting reports on wether to use GFJ or not.
Also does quinine/tums help?
 
Yeah the diareeha is a killer for me, because you can't rest and you're up and down having a water shit. Immodium didn't even help me but I haven't tried high doses.

Well done and hang in there.

Have you got any cloidine around for the restlesness, a benzo would help. But just try the clonidine if availible and see how you feel.
