Acid blotter that is DOB. Lab analyzed. (w/ pics and spectra)

Heh.

I was just about to make a thread wondering what kind of drug I got, they are lightening bolts that taste like shit and the effects kinda feel kind of like a weak LSD trip.

I guess this answers my question :)


I actually had fun one night on them, I tried one, figured I just didn't take enough because I did a drop of liquid the night before and so I took another 1/2 tab of good acid about an hour later. I had the time of my life and it lasted all night long.
 
I've Never taken DOB before; I'm curious would the one hit of DOB, that i was given, enough for a full trip? I believe it's .75mg.
Does/would/mite it mix well with any thing.

I posted a picture of it earlier in this tread! I was hope'n it was LSD. The folks around here have no idea what research chemicals are, and truly thought it was LSD too. Apparently it just past though this very dry town a month ago.

Otherwise i'll just go for a hike into the mountains after i take it if i do.

ok i got some of these hits in santa cruz about a week ago, i dosed with 4 thinking it was acid, when it wasnts pure insanity i decided to dose 2 more, i easily was trippin pretty hard for a good long while and this trip was FUN, but the DOB made me feel retarded, i oculdnt form sentences coherently and the next day u feel all slow and u wanna sleep but its just not possible....o well hope people come back from burning man with surprises.
 
^ 6 doses=4.5mg That's a fucking fair sized dose of DOB; probably 36 hours of psychedelic weirdness.

I wish people would just say that they're DOB (I know, money/greed means that they call it acid because it'll sell more); there are plenty of people who want to try DOB
 
I guess my big issue with this is the toxicity of DOB vs. LSD. I don't know much about DOB but I'd assume that taking a high dose of it would definitely not be as safe as a high dose of LSD. Not only that but many people consume "ecstasy" pills with their "acid" and couldn't that possibly lead to some dangerous stimulation?

I'm glad they were identified but I've already seen one post of someone planning a "DOB flip" as a result of it.
 
I picked up some of the blotter shown in those pictures last night, sold to me as DOB. I live in Australia.

Lots of people (me included) would jump on DOB/I/C, but we forget the average drug user has never heard of these things. I have yet to offer ANY RC to someone without being greeted with a blank stare. We live in an world where these things are generally understood, but outside the online phychedelic community, shit just ain't like that.
 
When I think about it, I guess I answered my own question from maybe the first or second page of this thread. Live and learn.
 
It really is depressing when i try to bring up research chems with anyone and they just have no idea.
 
I don't have a lot of experience with LSD and have not yet tried DOB or 2C-B. I was hoping I could ask a couple of eneducated questions... hopefully I won't piss anyone off.

Could you be mistaken if you were judging DOB vs LSD if judging purely by length of duration? Ie. What I'm asking is if I was to take a blotter or several blotters of really strong LSD (taken in one initial dosage) is it possible the duration would extend from the normal 8-12hrs into the DOB range of 18-30hrs?

Apart for duration, does DOB and 2C-B feel very similar (just thinking about the chemical similarity)?

dob is slower coming up and longer going down. Plus LSD is intrinsically hallucinogenic but low doses of dob do not cause hallucinations IME. The two substances are quite similar but there are subtle but important differences. LSD is more of a mindfuck but dob can be quite rough on the bod. In the whole history of LSD it has a very good track record for safety (despite stories of terrorized civilians "flying" off tall buildings). The track record for dob resembles a more directly toxic substance. A pure hit of dob can still be Kosher though but it is not likely to become mainstream.
 
DOB left people I know feeling they survived, rather than enjoyed the experience. 2-CB was quite friendly and quicker. Not as draining. DOB seems to be an aquired taste - to put it mildly.
 
well i was tricked into this at burning man this year. i was given a 5 strip of what i was told was acid. i paid no head to the fact that the blotter was super thick, and tasted extremely bitter. i just folded it up and swallowed. what followed was the longest, most horrible, most physically/mentally challenging trip of my life (and i've done ALOT of drugz). i was puking and having the most evil shudders/seizers for the 12 hours it took me to ride my bike over to my friends camp, at which point they totally took care of me (love em'). i was peaking for over 24 hours strait, and i only mellowed out after they gave me a bunch of valium. i still didn't sleep for over 3 dayz. totally ruined my last three daze on the playa.

but lessoned learned: do not accept blotter from people you don't completely trust. this has never been an issue for me before, but times change i suppose. i don't believe this shit should be put on blotter either, as most people will just assume it's acid. at least with a suspicious white powder, one is naturally, well, suspicious. live and learn.

although before it turned bad, i did have some of the most amazing/realistic visions i've ever had. but i was lucky to have made it back to my camp before it really kicked in, because the second i arrived, i fell onto my bed into trance. if i hadn't made it back, i likely would have just passed out on the playa and been run over and killed by an art-car or something. it could have turned out alot worse. i'd also like to kill the motherfucker who made this shit. where do i sign up? :X

Ive eaten L quite a few times in my day and didnt notice the difference with these...i was also at Wakarusa festival and was on a lot of shit anyway...so the not sleeping for a couple days wasnt a giveaway...the only thing i thought was weird was the long come-up and bitter taste...im not really mad though because i didnt notice the difference and had a great time anyway...had a friend eat a tenstrip there and when i saw him the next day and asked how it went he said "eh...i wish they were more potent" lol! looking back im glad he didnt OD.
