I must admit....i lie :(

I lived 18 years in Newcastle, but I've been secretly living in Sydney for a year and a bit :( I always go back to Newi but, and I still own the city ;) So watch yo' nuggets Sydney-siders! 'Coz a Novocastrian is wreaking havoc among your ranks!!

I'm a fraud! Flame me! I am not deserving of being in this thread!
 
oh I forgot to ask, whats the official newcastle slang in this forum/thread;

Newy or Newi ??? or some abstract spelling I've missed while I was away?
 
Diego - I tend to type Newie.. not sure about the official naming convention but since:

Raymond Terrace --> Raymo
Stockton --> Stocko
Jesmond --> Jeso
Flannelette Shirt --> Flanno
therefore :
Newcastle --> Newo????


Anyone? :)

I'm usually of the "Newwie" school of thought. And Raymond Terrace is usually "The Terrace"

.....we dont usually mention Stockton......

Raymond Terrace=The Terrace=Terrace Rat

Jesmond=Jeso=Jeso Mall Rat

Stockton=Stocko=Stocko Sandgroper

Nelson's Bay=Bay=Bay Rat

Lake Macquarie=Lake=Lake Rat

New Lambton=NL=NL Crew Rat

Therefore:

Newcastle=Newy/Newi/Newie=Novocastrian:)


I would also like to take the opportunity to grill diego...although a true worthy contributor in this forum or any forum for that matter, turning his back on the city for educational purposes is one thing...but referring to himself as a novocastrian in this thread is fraudulent and i wish for diego to cease this ingress. Kindest regards from the mayor's office!=D

i *once* went to a small doof at Brunkerville ... yeah im lame ... only one ... and i was 15 I think :D
 
^^ we travel everywhere for a doof =D

There is a necastle doof crew that i am part of though called the newEcrew and we have put on parties in the past :)

www.australiens.net is where you can find out about sydney and there abouts (including newie) doofs if you didn't already know and you can always look in the events section here ... i usually let everyone know when they are coming up (well the ones i go to anyway lol)
 
I've lived in the newcastle area so long i was born in the Mater Hospital..
 
I'm from Sydney but a Novoacastrian born and breed. I hardly admit it though. Even now I'm not admitting it. I'm not a Novocastrian. :D
