Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience or information on this? Upon a google search, I have found a traditional method in which B. caapi root is chewed prior to taking the yopo snuff, but no information on how this compares to using the yopo alone.
I will be preparing my yopo as close to the traditional method as possible (calcium hydroxide, h2o, and lightly roasted yopo beans mixed, finally rolled into a ball that is allowed to sit for several days). I believe from my research that this is not only preferable but necessary to get a good experience from the beans, otherwise the secondary effects are too great and unpleasant.
I have ayahuasca vine or syrian rue at my disposal.
