^Reggae can be utterly sublime. Simple humble and peaceful. Check out a guy named Richie Spice, more dubby with dancehall vibes, but fantastic.

So G_P, you were speaking of new sounds, and the need for them....well, describe a sound for me and I'll try and make it :)

It is tripped out- you will know the sound by the examples- its a typical sci-fi/movie kinda sound BUT- in applying the same theory to flangers/phasers/resonant filters, I've had some incredible fun....:) Sound is good.
 
^Arright. Sproingy? Have a few ideas there.....I have some awesome african big bad wooden drums that may make that deep tonal rhythmn. Hehe, I have no work today, some DMT and coffee and weed so sproinging it is :) I'll post whatever I come up with okay? <3

Looks like im staying in jersey , Ive been welcomed back into the old homestead and will be staying here and working . I think all this talk of hitchhiking and hoping freight trains made my parents a bit nervous and they said that I can live with them again. I got a job as a tellemarketer starting here in a week so I guess Ill try that out. Im gonna stick around and save some money for a bit and use it to travel to the shows.
 
It will be spring here soon enough and I will once again be able to lay out in the sun :D Its just a bit to chilly for that here this time of year . I cant leave the house without at least 3 layers of cloths on . Ive noticed im getting very sensitive to the cold weather these days , hence my strong desire to head south

good afternoon! the rain has stopped and the sun is out. i'm staring out the window waiting for the guy's plane to depart at 4:20, he's gone until monday :( at least he'll be home in time for my bday next sat. (he better be!). i miss him already

all this talk of festivals and such makes me wish it were summer already!

Get the album Tri-Repetae++ by Autechre, spring-loaded porcelain snares over criminally deep 909 bass drum hacks... You'll understand it when you see it, I did on 2C-D last week and it's still seared into my memory... The perspective of being there... This video is the closest thing that it comes to it, other than the real thing, of which nothing compares:

Watch it in HD, the sound quality is improved as well. Clear, not like the muffled versions I have heard.

That's great Charlie... I have a feeling that the best place for you will be with your family. :) I feel you about the AA... I think it works for some peopl, and it's certainly better than drinking yourself to death, but I think the philosophy of it creates a sense of powerlessness and fear. If you feel like a liar, then it's probably best to find your own way. Just please keep on top of it because I know as well as many how hard it is to not go back to your drug of choice.
 
Err, sounds didn't flow too well- ended up with a pile of rubbish. However, new ideas are forming.

So I smoked about 30mg's of DMT and had a pleasant play with my doggy....slightly weird at first; I couldn't stop basically comentating in my mind as to what was going on, but then that uplifting happiness came about and I just lay outside in the caring sunshine :)

Hey NeuroDR! <3 nice of you to stop in and say hi!

Ive been having a nice day today despite feeling a bit crummy... but what can be expected when you are quitting opiates? I took some fellow PD'rs advice and smoked some DMT for the first time since my disturbing trip with SKL (some of you may recall it, I think I posted about it in the social thread...) The DMT (low dose) felt REALLY GREAT, just put a beautiful smile on my face. Reminded me how much I love DMT, because really that substance has my heart <3 Opiates took over for about a month but Im now seeing the lite and starting to shine on me again :) <3 Im looking forward to getting some lost strength and energy back and using my time off (aka unemployment) to clean up my neighborhood, start a garden and to possibly volunteer at a drug rehab center of some sort. OH and i got a part time babysitting job 3 days a week with these really AMAZING SMART kids (the 6 year old is reading about Tiera Del Fuego and Bosnia :D ). Im also really enjoying moderating! Ya'll make it so easy tho <3

i called and he answered but put me on hold and we got disconnected...im gonna try calling again soon

EDIT: he didnt answer the second call and I left a vmail? what should i do?! If hes on the phone obv i dont wanna bother him but i texted him and called back n he didnt respond to either

i got there after panic in paradise edited out the number, so I really hope they're talking.
 
k well im sure pip will say something but for anyone waiting i got a text from him and he said hes okay....WE LOVE YOU MATT!!!
