I spoke with Charlie earlier today... he wanted me to send love to PD and to let BL know that he would be back to his Mod duties asap (w/i 2 days he mentioned). He also wanted to let everyone know that he is doing well. He is a very loving person <3, filled with energy he just needs to focus that energy into something constructive and positive. *sends love and lite out to charlie*

on another note, YES Heroes is an amazing show! I highly recommend you check it out Andy =D
 
man... I'm in a bit of a relationship jam. I feel held back by mine right now, but love her too much and care too much to hurt her by ending it. I give I will just give it another shot and try to change things...
 
Speaking of cats, my girl has an awesome cat, lenny. I have always been an anti cat person, due to their shy nature, but this one is seriously awesome, he plays with my and stands on my shoulder while I walk around and can do backflips (my girl is the only one that knows how to make him do backflips) but yeah, my opinion of cats has changed so dramatically after meeting this one.

And I know we agreed to stop talking about charlie, but I haven't checked up on this forum in a minute and feel like I have to show my love and support for him, he is a great guy.

So yeah, I'm stoned and just ate a nice sandwhich. Xorkoth, have you ever added seeds to your breads? I've been eating this beautiful break with big ole pumpkin seeds (pepita's) in them of late. Very tasty indeed, and feels even more healthy then just plain bread- which feels plenty healthy too :)

I feel happy- got more shifts at work, which is bizarre given recent circumstances. Meh, fuggit ;)

FGH, don't hurt yourself for the sake of someone else. It doesn't help anyone ultimately. But do what makes you happiest- thats probably the best way of making decisions :)<3
 
damn, I was really feelin a quasidilla but didn't have any shredded mexican blend cheese. So I shredded some pepperjack and it was seriously awesome. And I have some san pedro simmering on my stove (it's not even mine) that I'm keepin an eye on. Happy (late) night BL and good morning responsible folk
 
I'd like to have a cat. We already have a cute little hamster though.

Yeah, I grew up a dog person... we always had dogs and my mom never understood cats so I sort of got it from her.

Then I got to know a few peoples' cats, and then I got my own, and it totally changed. The thing about cats is that they're very much like humans. If you want to have a satisfying relationship with them, you have to show them as much respect as you expect them to show you. You have to be consistent and loving and make sure you're only doing what's in their interest, and always showing them the attention they need. But in return, they give you lots and lots of love and affection. It's definitely a commitment, but totally worth it. <3

Also, some cats are more shy than others. Mine aren't very shy... they are the Ragamuffin breed, which are known for being long-lived, really smart, very big, snuggly, family-oriented, and friendly and loving.

Hey ya'll I was just thinking about something in regards to this board when I woke up this morning.

I think we should be careful about who we give information out to about a person that is temporarily missing or whatever. I think in this recent case the person that came to BL had the best of intentions, but I think we should still be careful from now on about what we say about people to people that come under the guise of loved ones and friends. There's no way for us to verify that (they very well could be police looking for information for a case coming up against the person). Or, even if they are real loved ones coming to know more or share information we might let slip something that devastates the family (for instance heroin use is often kept under tight wraps and if loved ones heard of this then they would be rightly terrified). We ARE a family here, but let's face it we don't REALLY know some people well enough to hand out information and KNOW that what we are doing is positive (and not instead something destructive).

So, I think the best policy that I am putting forth for your approval is to keep quiet about people that are not here to represent themselves when "a good friend" comes to the board asking questions about them. Of course, I think we should talk if it is a life-death situation...but if its just the kind of thing it was recently...then I think we should be quiet and not get caught up in the drama.
 
I see your point and agree with it. Unfortunately people can be up to no good, even though we'd like to think they wouldn't. In this recent case I do not at all have the feeling that Charlie's friend is actually the police or something, and he clearly already knew about his problems, but in general I agree with you... you can't be too careful.
 
Good looks Andy, however... If you look in the new member introductions... GDave introduced himself as his first post and Charlie (who introduced him to BL) immediately logged on (same computer and everything as they were in the same room, Charlie confirmed this with me in person) to wish him welcome to BL. I know that this person is who he says he is... but I do believe that if in the future something of this nature did happen it would be best to be careful about what is said... <3 safety for PD kin first <3

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! I am reading 3 books at the same time today and dont know which one to pick up next... choices, choices. :D I am also digging funk music today, great for dancing!! <3
 
It is so nice today, I am about to load up a bowl of some fine Kush and have a smoke outside on my patio. I was over by the lagoon on my campus today and all the trees were budding. Made me happy. :) I will be glad when this cold weather is gone for good. This winter has really worn on me.
