I have a few friends who might not be able to go, which means I won't either...
We should set up smaller parties in and around the US for those who can't make it to Amsterdam...

so what? seems logical to me. people that are into 'events' might be into this one.

^Because Amsterdam isn't actually located in North or South America.
I agree that people who are into events may very well be interested in this one, but we have European and African events for a reason, dont we?
It dosen't really matter, this is going to stay where it is regardless of what I think, but "logical" it most definately ISN'T.

it's a global meetup. this is a global site. if it was only advertised in EADD or Euro Events it wouldn't be very global, would it? as animal cookie says - this thread has been all over Bluelight. once it's run its course here it'll be moved somewhere else.

I'm aware of that. I was just giving my humble and at the time slighty drug induced opinion that there might be a better place for it.

IDK, probably not. lol. The only thing that would be tough is trying to talk my wife into going overseas to meet a bunch of people that I interact with on the intarwebs. Maybe I shall start the brain washing. Tonight. I will report back on the progress.

lol so far not so good. I still have some time. The main concern is her schooling; I don't think she will be able to take a week off. She is doing a masters program that includes summer school so. IDK, anything is possible though right?

school is part of my problem, but if there is a slight chance that it will happen, even partially, on a weekend or something, maybe the bf can either 1) get a gig close by and or 2) give me some of his frequent flyer miles if even just to get my ass out of here for a few days.
