I'll be splurging and will go and spend the money on a good hotel, not a cheap one. I'd be up for putting towards an apartment or something, but for this event I'd rather not do the hostel thing.

this sounds like a very interesting idea. i would love to come jus hope i can save enough money. but i did want to go to europe in the next couple years. My parents are from czech republic so i have to go there also.

honestly amsterdam sounds like the ideal place for a bluelight meet up. they have a reputation for alot of good things and thier beliefs i think tend to match up with some goals and beliefs of this website.

I have friends in Amsterdam, I can probably get somewhere to stay for about 6-8 bluelighters on the floor of someones apartment. You will have to pay them in DMT, so I warn you!

its really gonna depend if its going to be a 1 week affair or if people are going to blow their whole vacation (or a good portion of it) ~ 2 weeks. Personally, I'm planning on staying for 2 weeks (at least in Europe) just because air travel is somewhat expensive. I can't really see staying in Amsterdam for more than one week. It would be nice to sort of meet people on a Friday (12th or the 19th) and then fly in on the Thursday (for myself I guess I would leave on a Wednesday...lol
)...just a suggestion.

It would be good to know if there is anything that usually happens in June like an event or festival that we could plan around as well.

It wont work unless people start attending regular local meet ups, from what i have seen over the years this don't take place alot.

Although if it did go ahead, and now this is something i am praying for i will most certainly 100% be there.

this will definately be a one in a life time experience, and why the fuck not, loads of similar interested people with all completely different lives.

Amsterdam...My dad has a friend there who has an apartment thats vacant most of the year!
