Primer: I have a high tolerance to opiates and also am a heroin addict on and off.
Anyway, it was a Saturday morning and I had 10 Vicodens(Hydrocodone) 7.5/350 APAP's and 9 Darvons(Propoxyphene) 65/350 APAP's.
Both are relatively weak synthetic opiods. I wasn't expecting much of a buzz since I've used IV heroin thousands of times. But my god, I was in for a very nice treat.
Mode of intake: So I took all the pills at once on an empty stomach with some grapefruit juice to help absorbtion.
T+ 15 minutes: I can feel something stirring, I'm thinking ahh well this will probably be the best it will get, I wasn't expecting a good buzz in the first place.
T+ 30 minutes: Strangely the mild effects are at a stable level there is no noticeable increase
T+ 45 minutes: Still no change, I thought that was really weird, I started to get bummed out a little cuz I wasn't gonna get any higher.
T+ 75 minutes: BAMM!!! it took a long ass time to kick in but my ass got kicked good. 1 hour and 15 minutes. This buzz was so wonderfull, I felt so positive about everything. I couldn't believe I got a buzz this hard from hydro's and darv's. The only difference between the heroin high and this synthetic opiod high is that I didn't feel the warm blanket effect. The high took on a dreamlike quality and more psychadelic then heroin. I was nodding in and out of dreams and suddenly finding myself talking out loud to a person that wasn't there. All the things I had done during the night before and the last couple days re-entered my thoughts like as if I was hypnotized. I wonder if it was the propoxyphene that made the high more trippy. My voice dropped down a tone and it was rough and scratchy when I talked. Itching was very minimal.
T+ 3 hours: Still going hard and strong. This is the reason I wrote this report is how long lasting the high was. I couldn't believe it. I was seeing doule constantly, very hard to walk sraight. I sit down and any time I close my eyes I see visions of things. One of the particular visions that was very interesting was a large skull in space and serpants with no skin, just like made up of spinal columns were flying around the skull and even they both came out of the skulls eye sockets at the same time. I could let myself get deeper into these visions but there was a risk of nodding off and falling asleep which I definately didn't want to do I was loving this high and wanted to experience all it had to offer. Still 3 hours into the high, there is no change, I'm still feeling so positive and have deep feelings of empathy for everyone. I was unable to type on my computer and unable write down the things that were flying through my head. I'm used to a heroin high where nothing is flying around in your brain, this high was much more of a brainstorm. In my hypothesis I can only attribute it to the Propoxyphene since I've eaten hydro's many times before and never got this stunted.
T+ 4 hours: STILL_GOING_STRONG. I can not believe this, a heroin high would have been gone in an hour, and here I am talking and talking and talking to my wonderful wife, having deep conversations and I was very easily grasping large concepts and able to explain them. SMOOTH, smooth is how it felt, compared to heroin, heroin always feels bumpy or jagged, this buzz was so pure and blissfull it actually took on an MDMA quality. I was definaely drying up. I had to keep drinking water every 20 minutes or so or my mouth would dry out completely.
T+ 4hours 45 minutes: I detect a very slight downturn of the effects at this point but it's nothing to bumm me out. My wife wanted to have sex and we did. It felt much warmer and loving then usual. She came and I tried and tried but I could not come, so I just didn't. I could believe that. Never happened before, even on smack. It felt like my entire body had a shot of Novacain. I was very numb and when I sat still I could feel waves of some sort going from my feet all the way to my head. Waves of numbness and then I would feel something like static electricity all over my torso area. Still I was high and it felt great even though the effects were very gradually wearing off.
T+ 6 hours: I am still high and very talkative and positive and I just can't believe it's lasting this long. Still need to keep hydrating myself or I dry up. I laid back on my couch intending to nod on and off into the dreamstates but instead I fell asleep.
I don't remember any dreams I had when I was sleeping unfortunatly, I may not have had any.
T+ 8 hours: Wife wakes me up to watch a movie called The Conversation(GREAT movie BTW). At this point all major effects have worn off, my body is heavy again and coming back into gravity. There was very minor residual effects for the rest of the night but for all intents and purposes the high was gone. I was able to function perfectly well, sometimes forgetting that I even got high that day.
Conclusion: This is one hell of a combo and I intend to repeat it next weekend. The high felt synthetic but very smooth and empathetic. I could't believe it lasted 6 hours straight. Even though there are risks involved with the heart toxcicity of Propoxyphene I highly recommend it. It was a wonderful day, I felt like I was in heaven.

. Im pretty sure the hydro probably controlled about 90-95% of the effects you received, since Darvo is so absolutely shitty, but who knows.
