AET has apparently produced lasting serotonergic damage in test animals
4-methylated variety would just accelerate that damage (in general, methylating tryptamines and phenethylamines allows them to more easily cross the blood-brain barrier and increases their resistance to MAO degradation).
I would avoid it... 4-sub tryptamines tend to be extremely toxic other than MOST of the 4-HO tryptamines (4-HO-AMT was found to be extremely toxic and I imagine 4-HO-AET would be as well).
