If SWIM took 4-aco-dmt saturday night and SWIM took it again tuesday night would SWIM trip just as hard? SWIM is pretty sure 4-aco-dmt would have the same tolerance as psilocybin/psilocin/mushrooms

Welcome.
Please don't use the phrase 'SWIM', it's against our rules. :)

Tolerance is hard to predict, it depends on the person and on the drug and on a lot of other variables that are hard to calculate. It's possible that you trip just as hard or harder for example due to a different set and setting. So overcompensation with an increased dose might cause you to overdose. I would only increase the dose if you are ready to accept the full effect as though there is zero tolerance.

If you assume that tolerance is the same or similar as with mushrooms, then you should take a look at this thread where we compiled data to show an average development of tolerance, and a gradual dropping of said tolerance: LINK

I personally would certainly notice it, but many people might not.
However 2c-e I can take two nights in a row to the same effect.
I can't with 2c-i or 2c-p night after night but I can with 2c-i then 2c-p.

I've taken 4-AcO-DMT 2 days in a row a few times and 2 days apart twice. I've found that the trip intensity is dramatically reduced if taken 2wice in a row. The visuals were the first to go and what remained was a murky dysphoria. Taken 2 days apart was still a 'meh' for me, although not as unplesaant as attempting to trip 2 days in a row. Mind you, these were all on similar doses and I wanted to find out what would happen. I've never tried with doubling the dose.

It seems that for myself, tolerance is completely reset after 7 days.

Tom

OP; tolerance might even be a bit more severe because of the acetoxy group....just a guess
