My month of on and off use of 3f-Phenmetrazine
NOTICE
I will try to be as specific as possible but due to a minor benzo use to help with the sleep after each session or binge my memory is not a hundred percent clear.
Mind you that everything here are my own opinions based on my personal experiences unless I state the opposite.
I would also like to point out that I never took a one-time dose above ~80mg and that I always eyeballed everything on the tip of a small knife. And I always redosed at least two or three times an hour, possibly a bit more in the beginning on a longer binge then the more time that has passed I used less and less per hour.
Also I only took it nasally until the end where I tried orally a few times, more on that in the end.
I am waiting for an order for 5g from Shop #1 where I also ordered a scale, I would like to know how much I take in the future.
There is no way I can tell even an estimated date for each use but here are the dates that I ordered the stuff:
April 13 - 500mg (Shop #1)
April 27 - 500mg (Shop #2)
May 2 - 1g (Shop #2)
May 6 - 500mg (Shop #2)
May 7 - 1g (Shop #1)
May 12 - 2g (Shop #3)
PERSONAL BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Age: 24-27
Sex: Male
Medical conditions: Asthma (from physical acitivites, dust and pollen)
Body condition/shape: A bit overweight but in generally good condition due to my work is physically hard
Earlier drug experiences (in order of first to last): Cannabis, Psilocybin mushrooms (2005-2010) a couple of times, Ecstasy (2006-2007) four or five times, LSD (2008 or 2009) three times, all kinds of opiates (Tramadol, Codeine, Oxycodone, Morphine (only orally), Subutex/Suboxone (don't like this one at all) and tea made from dried poppy capsules (not the seeds obviously)) and excluding heroin but including raw opium latex taken orally and given the best opium experience I have ever had, Etizolam, Clonazepam, Flunitrazepam, Diazepam, Alprazolam, Zopiclone, Zolpidem, Meclonazepam, Nifoxipam, Clonazolam, Flubromazolam, Ethylphenidate, Speed (amphetamine sulphate I think?) only one time and in a very small dose which made me sleepy and made my body feel completely relaxed like spaghetti, Methylphenidate and now 3-FPM.
I might have missed something and I would like to point out that the only stuff I have ever been abusing has been benzos (and now possibly 3-FPM but I do feel in control since I have been taking breaks for a few days). All of the other drugs I have kept a good relationship with, especially the opiates, I could have a steady flow of them if I wanted to but I decided many years ago that I never want to get addicted to opiates so I only use them on certain occasions. Often less than once a month. Also I did smoke cannabis daily for a few years but I had no trouble quitting cold turkey, now I only smoke on special occasions and only if I'm alone, it's not like it was before.
And finally...
THE REPORT
The first 500mg started on April 18 together with two buddies. We sat up all night doing small doses of 3-FPM all the time together with some good weed. I can't recall how the weed were affected by the 3-FPM, especially since this was my first time trying it. But since we sat up talking about a serious project we have been planning for a few weeks all night even with weed in the mix I would say that it went 'as planned'.
I can't remember if we used all the 500mg or if I still had some left the next day.
A few days passed with no noticable side effects.
Second time the batch looked a bit differently than from the first one, it was more like 50/50 transparent thin crystals with the powder. Nothing hard to crush but I thought I would point out the way they differed on their looks.
I think I did a +55 hour binge on this one with no problems at all.
I started taking it during the day at roughly 1-2pm and in the evening at 11pm I took a higher dose than the ones I had taken during the day and I refilled quite quicly after that dose because listening to music became really nice. Last few years I have been more of a downtempo, chillout kind of guy but 'my roots' are in psytrance from early '00. Since I had updated me on the psytrance front a few days before I put on some albums from 2014 and 2015 and increased the volume in my headphones. It really pepped me up.
The first 24 hours I didn't really eat and drink that much since it repress hunger. This is where I started noticing the 'blackouts' from when rising from a sitting or lying position too quickly. (Not blackout as in memory-loss but the type you can get from low blood sugar. You get up and start feeling dizzy, that kind of blackout.) So I started taking care of getting enough food and water regularly even though it sometimes was really hard since just thinking about food made me feel ill. And just eating a little bit made feel extremely full so I really had to force it into me.
I can't remember much more about this binge session more than it wasn't at all hard to stay up, I never felt tired but I also never had a "good focus" so I couldn't do what I love most, creative stuff. So mostly I stayed up talking to people on Facebook and IRC while listening to music. The feeling of music 'being better' I had in the beginning slowly faded away until the next evening where I once again took a bigger dose than those I had taken during the day and the 'music-feeling' was back.
Because I only used so little at a time these 500mg lasted a long time. And if I am recalling correctly I started this binge on a thursday and I had to work during the weekend. It is physically active work during the night and I couldn't sleep during the friday so I had to rely on the 3-FPM to keep me going. It worked very well except at one point when I stopped to take a short break I drank some water and immediately after drinking the water my heart rate went boom, started racing like hell and beating irregular. This is an issue I get from time to time and I have pin-pointed it down to coming from doing physical work like going to the gym at least 45 minutes after I have eaten something or when I drink something really quickly. So I am pretty sure this time it stemmed from doing physical stuff and drinking water, and not the 3-FPM per se, not saying it didn't have anything to do with it but it also not saying it is only to blame.
After work I came home at around 6am and decided to stay up until 4 or 5pm to get some well deserved sleep for the upcoming shift. I ate some breakfast, had some coffee and at ~4pm I ate dinner and immediately after I took 0.125mg Flubromazolam (extremely potent RC benzo) and 0.5mg prescribed Clonazepam (Rivotril) both sublingually (under the tongie) and I slept like a baby until I had to get up at 1:15am and prepare for work.
I took a small dose before leaving and after half the shift had passed I took one more minor dose. With minor dose it could be anything from 10-30mg, it is really hard to know since I was eyeballing. But this kept me going.
After this shift I decided to stay up until the evening again but since my work was done for a while now I could relax. Took the last of the 3-FPM during the day to keep me going and while I felt that I was tired, at least my body was after two nights of work I had no problem staying awake, but I guess I could have fallen asleep if I just went to bed. I took 0.25mg Flubromazolam in the evening and fell asleep quickly as expected.
I would estimate that it took three to four days for my next order to arrive and from what I can remember I didn't feel any particular withdrawals. Of course there were these "flu" symptoms everyone talks about but I figured those originated from my pollen allergies and was made worse from the snorting.
I had no fever or muscle/joint ache. Only like a regular cold which can be very much like the symptoms from my pollen allergies instead.
So the 1g from the same shop as the last 500mg came from arrived and honestly I have no clue on how much or often I used from then (~May 6) until now. But I know that I never went above 80mg in one dose and always kept it to smalle doses and refilled every now and then.
I only had one more long binge from here one, that I am certain on and it lasted for ~+60 hours or something but it wasn't as easy to 'not feel tired' as my first long-session binge.
But I guess I continued to use it to stay away for ~24-36 hours at a time and getting some sleep with help from the benzos, which I know isn't a good sleep since science points at evidence that leads us to believe that our sleep is effected by the benzo (each benzo is different of course) but if I recall correctly the general idea is that taking benzo to help you sleep gives you less of the much needed NREM 3 stage of the sleep cycle and shorter REM cycles. "NREM 3 is the phase which most relieves subjective feelings of sleepiness and restores the body." (Quoted from
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep#Stages) and lack of REM sleep impairs the ability to learn complex tasks.
I would give you some sources on this but since I haven't read it in a long while I am sorry that I can't. But feel free to disprove me, I could be wrong. Anyhow, the best sleep is the normal sleep and not drug-induced sleep, at least I would say that sounds most logical to me. But this is outside of the topic.
Like I said, from that point on up until now I can't remember much more clearly on how I used it but I wasn't on it 24/7. I had a few days break every now and then to let my body rest and during these days I never felt any side effects worse than the "cold" symptoms and a little sadness. I could possibly have been easily irritaded on of the days but whether that was due to lack of 3-FPM or something I don't know since it only happened once.
This last week that has now passed I tried 3-FPM orally twice. First time on thursday evening and I am not sure about the dose, like I mentioned earlier I never took more than 80mg in one dose but this could have been more. Anyhow I didn't feel much difference from when taking smaller doses nasally, also I had just eaten. And then I started drinking and I drank quite much that night and always refilled the 3-FPM. Some reports that this combination makes it more like the effects on cocaine but I have to disagree. For both me and my friend it completely removed the effects of the alcohol, we weren't drowsy, didn't slur or walk badly.
Actually, coming to think of it, I combined alcohol with 3-FPM maybe two weeks before this point but then way less alcohol than this time and then it made me really tired, no matter how much I refilled with 3-FPM.
So I have to go with the others who reported that 3-FPM removes the effects of the alcohol.
During the friday I took some to keep me going and went to sleep with 0.5mg Flubromazolam. Woke up early in the morning and took a small dose since I had to go meet a friend for a few hours. That one kept me going until the evening where I took the last I had during the night with the last dose at maybe 3am. This wasn't more than maybe a 100mg but a little 3-FPM goes a long away in terms of keeping you going.
Now I am going to wait much longer time until I take it the next time because I must say, even with my limited experiences of stimulants this one is really good but I don't know the long-term effects/side effects yet.
So far about five days has passed and I have felt nothing weird, but I have been using small doses of Flubromazolam for sleep and my prescribed Clonazepam for a muscle issue I've got.
Also I took some Tramadol yesterday, had been a long time since my last opiate session and a friend had some new ones we had never seen before, just taking one 50mg pill (not capsule as we are used to) to see if it was the real deal then going up to 500mg total and it really made me nod the night away.
So I guess I have been keeping whatever potential withdrawal effects away with other drugs.
But in moderate doses and even long term use I must say that it feel pretty safe, especially with a few days of breaks here and there.
There is one thing about it I feel that I have only been teased on, and that is the euphoric effects. I have taken MDMA and Ecstasy several years before and during those nights I took more 3-FPM than usual I got these tingling feelings on different parts of my body, from anywhere like my left inner thigh or my chest to the top of my head. Like extremely small rushes from Ecstasy.
And people who reportedly took 200-300mg in one dose have reported MDMA like euphoria effects. So when I have let my body rest for a while, hopefully without benzos, I will try 200 or 300mg orally and hopefully get a nice euphoria rush. But from what I have read it doesn't last for more than up to an hour. But been having teased so many times I really feel like I need to try it. I haven't taken MDMA or Ecstasy since 2008 so a nice euphoria rush would be a nice change for once.
MY THOUGHTS
I never mentioned that while on 3-FPM I had a harder time breathing, not that it was unpleasant, it was so minor that could have stay with it. But since I have medicine for my asthma I took that and it helped for a long time.
At first I thought this was due to some of the 3-FPM coming into my lungs from doing it nasally. But it also occured when I did it orally. I don't really know what to make of that. Could be a prolonged side effect from mostly snorting it I guess. But when I'm off it the issue isn't there.
The difference effect-wise of doing it orally or nasally is both major and minor at the same time. It is so hard to pin-point the exact differences but the second time I tried it orally I hadn't eaten for many hours and I waited at least three hours after before I did a quick sniff.
During these three hours I felt... "awake", I guess, and more energy but I wasn't hyperactive. I don't know exactly but there is definetly a difference between the different kinds of ways you can take it. I am never going to smoke nor IV it though so my experiences will always be limited to orally and nasally.
REGARDING COMEDOWN/WITHDRAWAL
I must admit that I am confused about these withdrawal effects since I felt them even when I was on the 3-FPM and taking my pollen allergy medicine which contains loratadine (Claritin, Alavert, Loratadine etc) reduced all these "cold" symptoms by like 10 times, I am not joking, it was really made that much better. That's why I'm thinking it might be the pollen allergy but if that's true I have had almost no withdrawal effects whatsoever except minor sadness.
And at one point when I decided to stop using it for a while I started reading on forums about the withdrawals and when I do this (this isn't the first time, I have done it with all types of drugs I have used) I start to worry, often unnescessarily. But it leads to minor anxiety which in turn leads to increased heart rate. But 0.25mg Flubromazolam or 0.5mg Clonazepam (even though it being more of a muscle relexant than anxielytic) helped to remove the anxiety completely, and my heart rate went back to normal.
ADVICES FROM MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCES
Make sure to eat and drink like you normally would do, even if it is really hard and just thinking about food might make you want to vomit.
A little 3-FPM (10-40mg) goes a long away in terms of just keeping you going. For a rush you need way more.
It is
WAY TO EASY to "just take one more sniff" all the time.
There seem to be some kind of ceiling that you can't pass when you've reached it. With that said I have been reaching this ceiling more quickly in the end of this month which I guess suggest that the half-life of this compound is pretty long. This is one of the reasons I need to stay away from it for a while now, to document the effects and let my body and brain recover.
The 5g that I have ordered will have to wait for a bit. I need to see if anything happens while I'm recovering from this month, hopefully it doesn't and then I have found my favorite RC stim.
If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask me, I will try my best to answer you.
Be well and stay safe!
