Phenethylamines [2C-E Subthread] 2C-E Dosage and Methods of Administration

When the day come to greet the wondrous Ethyl, i'd probably dose around 10-15mg to get a feel for it.. then up the dosage to around 18-25mg to where God can punch me in the face, when I'm soaring over the Astral Plane
 
There is absolutely no need to snort any psychedelic (unless you consider ketamine a psychedelic)--I don't think it will be stronger, as the oral bioavailability should be good. I generally prefer tryptamines, but I would love to try 2C-E if I could ever find it (I've tried 2C-B and 2C-I, but I don't consider them psychedelic, just good for shits and giggles)--it is supposed to be one of the most intense, LSD-like basic phenethylamines. Enjoy.
 
I would NOT snort 2C-E for the first time ingesting it. That's just asking for problems. These types of drugs do not treat your body well when snorted, your nose will feel like you just got shot and furthermore you will in all likelihood vomit uncontrollably. IF you decide to snort it for the first time, you should do so in a controlled environment such as your home, where people can't see you behaving strangely and call the cops or health officials to clean up your vomit. Even with a massive natural tolerance to psychedelics, 15mg of 2C-E should be enough to give noticeable effects. Please just eat it.
 
I'm going to be getting 20mg of 2c-e soon and I've never done it although I wish to split it with one friend of mine. Knowing that 10mg each orally probably won't get us to where we want to be, and if it doesn't I'd like to have a 2nd trip for both of us off this 20mg. I've considered either snorting 4-6mg each first, or rectal 6mg first and then doing the other ROA for the 2nd trip. In anyone opinion should we snort or rectal first?
 
10mg 2c-e is a pretty decent experience. If its your first time with this substance I'd do that. Oral is the best route of administration for a first experience with most drugs, in my opinion.
 
A first trial with 2c-e should by no means exceed 15-16mg, as I have found that to be sufficiently strong, maybe even too strong for people who are unexperienced with Phenethylamines. But above 15-16mg the strength of the trip seems to increase more than exponentially, which could lead to some unwanted experiences.
As they say, the dose-response-curve is really steep with 2c-e.

Oh and please never forget to try a sub-threshold dosage before diving into your experiments, because some people do have severe body reactions (maybe allergic) to some of the Phenethylamines while feeling nothing dangerous on others. I have seen this with 2c-e in a friend of mine who felt completely fine on various dosages of 2c-i, 2c-d, Doc and 2c-b but after taking an oral dose of 2,2mg of 2c-e he got chestpains and muscle cramps.

...just one of these repetetive advises to be careful!
 
Well me and my friend stated with 5mg nasal and didn't do anymore for the first time. It felt very similar to when I did 12" of san pedro, same visuals starting to manifest although weakly, same kind of body energy and mind space. Although me and him did experience a lot of muscle twitches and the like.

So I'm going to try 6-10mg rectally next trip and does anyone know if the body load (muscle twitches) are a lot more common nasally just cause of the faster onset? Cause I may rethink trying over 8mg rectally if it has more then my last trip.

I took 2ce (15mg) on a friday at around 9 o'clock. I tripped until 5 in the morning and couldn't get to sleep. I did it again at 8 o'clock (18mg) that night and had a waaayyy better, more comfortable trip.

It could have been the setting and the upped dosage the second time, but just take into account that at least one person has used 2ce twice within 15 hours and the result was positive.
 
Is it better to dissolve 2c-e in water or in, like, vodka? I've been using water because I dislike nasal administration of this particular drug. If dissolving it in alcohol, do you mix it with anything?
 
Ok, the 2C-E thread (or rather an aggregate of threads) has grown mighty massive, I'm too lazy to skim through everything at the moment, so please excuse me if this has been discussed before, and if possible, point me towards the right direction.

I have about 15mg of 2C-E left, and am trying to come up with the best way to take it to achieve a well balanced trip - not too weak, not too strong, not too uncomfortable physically etc. Since I seem have high natural tolerance towards substances of the 2C-x class, if I took it orally, I would most likely be left unsatisfied (15mg of 2C-E has IME been a rather mild experience), and if I took it all rectally (the only other ROA that has any value for and is available to me besides oral), I would probably be crushed.

So I am thinking of perhaps splitting the ~15mg dose and taking some of it orally and plugging the rest. Has anyone tried taking 2C-E like that? I would imagine it to be quite nice this way. Slightly smoother come-up and longer duration than rectal admin alone, and less GI discomfort during come-up than oral administration sometimes can cause (although I personally have never found the initial nausea and vomiting too much of a discomfort with 2C-E). Sounds about right?

Regarding doses, I was thinking maybe 6mg orally and 9mg (a little later) rectally. Taking into account, that rectal 2C-E is roughly twice as potent as oral, I should be taking a rough equivalent of an oral dose of 24mg, which is around the point I want to aim at. Does anyone think this logic is flawed somehow? Any tips/ideas/suggestions would be most welcome.

not quite sure, as i've never tried it, but using the same logic you are i'd think this would work perfectly.

Did a rectal dose recently and it was nice. Inserting it into my anus wasnt half bad either! :D I took a small amount and just got the very strong details and mental high. Marijuana also helped. No body load really, some jaw clench and i got nausea but I hadnt eaten in hours so I think it was just my stomach telling me I was hungry.

I don't think I'd want to go too far past 13 mg, which induced a definite +++ if we're talking Shulgin scale. However my measurement could've been off by maybe even a milligram, so it's possible that I'm falsely crediting a 13 mg dose with the effects of 14 mg.

I was really shocked when browsing the trip reports in Erowid's 2C-E "First Times" vault - a lot of the first timers were taking 16, 18 mg! 8o Seems smart to acquaint oneself with a drug a bit more gradually.

Honestly, it depends on how you respond to rectal. For me, I think that could easily push it past 24mg, even with just the 9 mg. I'm considering doing this method next weekend (or at some point), with around (EDIT: Those numbers don't look right, and I don't know what they'll be. But it'll be intense.) So let me know how it goes. I really want to have an intense trip.

Speaking of first 2ce stories, my first time was 36 mg. We had two 18 mg capsules, and my one friend just wasn't feeling high yet... so we took another one. Definitely a fun night ;)

I ended up postponing the trip again, probably won't be able to take it until the next weekend.

I have taken 2C-E rectally before on two occasions - once it was 10mg, and I did experience roughly the same level of effects I'd expect from 20mg oral. The second time I administered 5mg in combination with some 2C-C (I din't remember the exact dose, I think it was maybe 10 or 20mg), which resulted in a nice visual and mentally mild experience, as one would expect from the combination.

I'm sure 9mg rectally + 6mg orally would probably result in an intense trip, which is what I'm going for. I am hoping it will be around the same ballpark as 24mg taken orally, but if it'll be more intense, not a problem, I am prepared for that. 10mg rectally sure left me wishing I would have taken more, so this 9+6mg combination sounds nice enough. Maybe even try 10mg rectally + 5mg orally, IDK.

I'm also really not sure if what I have is exactly 15mg, because I don't have a mg accurate scale, and I dissolved the entire batch I had in distilled H2O a long time ago for liquid measurement, and the H2O has evaporated off leaving me with a small amount of powder at the bottom of the bottle. Fortunately, 2C-E seems to be very stable, and I'm not worried it has degraded too much, even though I have stored it at room temp for a long time now.
 
A question about storage:

I'd like to prepare a 2C-E solution with distilled water. However, I know that it's possible for mold and bacteria to contaminate distilled water after some time in storage, and I'd like to avoid this as I will be preparing a large amount of solution and would like it to last several years. I've read that an alcohol solution is recommended. However, I'd like to avoid this as I want to leave rectal administration open as a possibility.

Is there anything easy to obtain and safe to consume that I can add to the solution to prevent microbial growth and yet be sure not to alter the 2C-E? I'm considering something like sorbic acid or potassium benzoate, but I'm not sure if they will be effective enough over a long period of time, as they are mostly used in food products that are meant to last for a couple weeks, not years.

^ I've stored 2C-E (and other 2C-x) in distilled water for a long time without any bacterial growth issues. I've usually kept them in the fridge, but a freezer would be even better to ensure that no bacteria can survive in there.

I'm not sure which additives could be added to ensure further safety of the substance, perhaps someone with better knowledge on the subject could chime in.

Another solution would be to use a water/alcohol suspension for storage, and for rectal administration you could simply measure out the dose(s) and let the alcohol evaporate off before dosing.

Or, you could measure out a small amount of substance to put in solution for liquid measurement (I assume this is why you want to store it in solution in the first place), and keep the rest in powder form for long term storage.
 
I have really bad sinus problems that i blame on 2ce, not to say smoking crack ever helped but everytime i snort 2ce now my nose bleeds. i dont think insulflation is as safe as one would think with these substances. I eat all my rc's! I snort ketamine. Id rather inject it but im too scarry for that!
