Damn right mate! I truly believe that everyone should trip at least once in their lives. However, the problem with this is that there are a hell of a lot of psycho bastards out there that just will NOT benefit from having their minds' expanded. It's a shame, and if there was any moral justification for wiping out the people that do not benefit from psychedelic experiences then I'd be all for it. Unfortunately, the human race just isn't ready for those sort of shenannigens yet..:\
 
Why the fucking fuss about finding MDMA replacements? It's a shit drug, and the replacements are even shitter.

Anyone who wants to buy 6-apb, 6-apdb, 5-mapb, nbomes etc will still be able to anyway.

I want a thebaine-derived oxy/hydro like compound with NDMA activity that has marked dissociative powers or a psilocybin derivate which also works as an amphetamine. They need to start seriously developing new stuff.

This is how gay marriage is going this way, to be honest. And they are changing their mind because more people started knowing more and more "normal" people who are Joe Averages that just happen to be gay. Marijuana is the same way, it's the illegal thing that is everywhere and everyone has.

Some things do indeed get decriminalized through activism despite popular opinion. Decriminalizing homosexuality in the beginning was this way, I think, same with eliminating capital punishment. But there are compelling arguments for both that appeal both to emotion and logic.

Drug decriminalization arguments appeal to logic, but drug decriminalization arguments run into one massive hurdle: the tales of weird or reckless behavior, major health issues, even deaths. These stories appeal to the emotional side in favor of prohibition. Why is marijuana the drug most likely to be legalized? Because people rarely get that weird on marijuana, the health issues are relatively minor, and no one dies from it. I see few other drugs out there that can meet that qualification, unfortunately.

I see what you mean, but - there has been a lot of noise linking cannabis with schizophrenia, and it's a gateway drug etc etc. Rubbish, but people do believe that. I know a guy, in his early 50s, who's son got in a bit of bother a couple of years back. Caught with cocaine in the local, getting into fights with people you don't want to fight, police involved and so on. My pal was going on about how it all started with him smoking skunk, changed his personality for the worse. I tried to tell him that was daft but he just said that how the stuff going round was much stronger than it used to be, I couldn't really argue with him. Fact is I don't think their home life was all that great, my pal was always falling out with his wife, who I think must have been depressed, she seemed depressed anyway. And his son was unemployed with no real prospects. But I couldn't tell him that it was probably his fault for being an absent, unfaithful husband and father who threw all his cash into the pocket of the nearest bookies! Things are never that simple anyway. Point being, many people do not see weed as the benign thing we might.

I agree Ingwe - I think we're forgetting that you havn't even been able to get 6-apb for the last 6 months because the 1 chinese bloke who could figure out the synthesis fell in the vat.

I imagine they'll be looking for something easier to synth as we speak.

I've thought it was shit for ages, I dabble now and again (like maybe every six months, which is how long you have to wait to actually get a decent dunt out of it), but yeah, it's all mashy and messy and mongy, it doesn't last long enough and leaves you feeling like shit, it's not potent enough, and it costs too much. It's neither one thing or the other- kind of trippy, kind of speedy, mostly just gurny shite. Give me acid or phet any day. And yeah, for real, I would really like to see some amphetamine-backboned cyclic amines make an appearance. Something that lasts 8 to 12 hours and is euphoric but also functional, and doesn't just dump serotonin all over the shop, would be nice. No nystagmus or bruxism, thanks. Side order of kinky. Yeah, I'm really good at imagining great drugs.

At least we hope it was 6-apb - I've had my suspicions that what they've been doling out since the chinaman fell in the vat has been a botched synth. All they retrieved from the vat were a pair of his smoking brogues so god knows what went in the next synth - probably essence of chinese lab worker.

The shit I bought as "6-apb" from one of the "trusted vendors" was brown flour and if you peeled away the brown you sometimes saw white. Fuck knows that that was.

Word on the 'street' is that a APB replacement is already in the works, and may be out by the end of the month if all goes well....I'm assuming compounds such as 5-EAPB (1-(benzofuran-5-yl)-N-ethylpropan-2-amine) and X-ABB (2-aminobutyl)benzofuran] may be next. No idea on the mechanism of action on ABB though.....
 
Fingers crossed - I remember in the early days of 6apb the demand far outstripped supply for about a year. The chinese were working like santas elves and you'd get a message on the trusted vendor sites saying:

"Two, or maybe three, 100mg pellets will arrive at the end of Jun. Place your pre-orders now. First come first served".
