Football 22-23 NFL Discussion Thread

You get 3.5 points for a sack because you get 2 for the sack and 1.5 for the solo tackle that comes with it

That's plenty

But go ahead and change it if you want

My father used to study the racing form standing up in the kitchen for hours and I would ask him who he liked and he said he didn't really like anybody and besides every race was fixed. Why would you bet on it if it's fixed? Because I'm trying to figure out how it's fixed
 
Trying to understand this new Pro Bowl format. I mean my head is spinning. What is the next change in format? No actual football?

I always though the Pro Bowl, that use to be after the Super Bowl, was an excuse to get the players to relax in Hawaii.

Never watched a full Pro Bowl.
 
Neither did I but they were supposed to be half-hearted because the players are taking less risks

I thought in the past the PB was an actual football game but with no sacking the QB and maybe pulled tackles, if any.

This year it was straight up flag football and on a shortened field. I was at work so didn't get to focus on everything. Although it looked fun, seeing grown men play flag football did seem a little cheesy.
 
i can see that happening - i get the sense it could be a 24-21 final

i'd probably rather bet the over/under than anything else....but yea the officiating in the NFL is just garbage right now - they change everything with their stupid calls - so why bother betting on it?

i'd rather save my money and bet on the NHL playoffs - they at least let them play and try to put the whistle away come playoff time
