2017 Trump Presidency Thread

It's actually quite sad if you read up on it, ottos dad was forced into silence by the Obama admin. The minute trump was sworn in he contacted him, at which point trump started the wheels in motion and got him back in a few months. By that time it was too late, Obamas lack of caring/ leadership had gotten the kid killed. Trump got him back asap and should be commended.
 
Yeah, Obama was so good at silencing people. I still remember that day, January 21st, 2009--Fox News went off the air. Bretibart was murdered, Alex Jones replaced by a cuck cyborg. The editorial page of the Wall Street Journal somehow all on the same tiny prop plane vanishing off the coast of the Bahamas? I don't think so.

That was the last day Americans were truly free; Obama took all our guns personally the very next day while Michelle Obama force-fed us brussels sprouts with her penis.

uh... he got himself killed. You shouldn't go to a foreign country with a totalitarian regime ("a hell that no one deserves" = one of my favorite trump platitudes) who has fought a war against your own country, and expect everything to turn out well when you start vandalizing their worthless shit.

You are beyond mindless to try to blame Obama for that.

I feel bad for the guy's family, not knowing how he may have suffered.

But going to a country you're technically still at war with, that's known to take tourists hostage as political toys, with the stated goal of converting them to your god . . . only to do some petty vandalism when you know they've got eyes on you at all times . . .

Are we sure the kid wasn't brain-damaged before he got there?

China is just as big of a human rights violator, and that is fact. Otto allegedly stole a piece of propoganda, hardly fitting of the death penalty. Obama forced the family to remain silent while they 'took care of it'. Otto was only released upon trumps efforts at the very beggining of his presidency, he deserves praise for his actions. These kids shop lifted from high end retail stores(Louis vuetton)that's a very serious charge in china. Societal norms are much different there, they were looking at least 10 years according to the Ccp. And if trump had not opted to win their freedom from the repressive regime you better believe the msm would be jamming the golden oldies of "your racist, Hitler, the patrioarchy, etc". It's fine to have your opinions here, but this isn't the lounge so please don't flame, even if you are emotional about the topic at hand. Thanks

The president’s Thanksgiving trip to Mar-a-Lago seemed to take a recreational turn, despite his staff’s insistence he had ‘a full schedule of meetings and calls’

Donald Trump appears to have headed straight to the golf course on the first day of his Thanksgiving trip to Mar-a-Lago in Florida – despite his staff insisting only an hour and a half earlier that he had “a full schedule of meetings and phone calls” all day.
The president flew to Florida for the holiday on Tuesday night after taking part in a traditional turkey-pardoning ceremony at the White House, and was up bright and early on Wednesday morning to resume his feud with LaVar Ball, the father of a basketball player arrested in China, and his separate row with NFL players who kneel to protest against police violence during the national anthem.
Those disagreeable errands out of the way, the president assured his 43.2m Twitter followers he would be “having meetings and working the phones from the Winter White House in Florida (Mar-a-Lago)”.
A White House press secretary, however, was less on-message, telling the press travelling with the president that she expected a “low-key day” on Wednesday, according to the “pool report” shared by journalists.
Within minutes, a correction had arrived to dispel any possible misunderstandings about Trump’s work rate and stamina.
“While the White House communications staff expects the press pool to have a ‘low-key day’,” it read, “the president will NOT have a low-key day and has a full schedule of meetings and phone calls”.
Just over an hour later, the Trump motorcade set off from Mar-a-Lago, arriving at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach at 9.26am.
The press were not invited in, having been safely stowed away “at a public library across the street”. From that vantage point the media were unable to spot Trump himself.
But it seems likely the president was enjoying a round of golf.
Before taking office, Trump frequently criticised Barack Obama for his golfing habit, tweeting three years ago: “Can you believe that, with all of the problems and difficulties facing the US, President Obama spent the day playing golf. Worse than Carter.”
But according to analysis by Politifact, Trump’s time on the green has far outstripped that of his predecessor. The fact-checking website estimates that Obama played 24 times from his inauguration to 13 November 2009, while Trump has chalked up 35 outings.
Data specialist Sophie Germain, creator of trumpgolfcount.com counts a total of 73 visits to golf clubs, but is in line with Politifact in her tally of confirmed rounds. Sometimes the weather intervenes, but there is always lunch.
Many of these rounds have been at his own golf clubs, which the president has promoted in other ways. Speaking to the South Korean national assembly on his recent trip to Seoul he noted: “Korean golfers are some of the best on Earth. In fact – and you know what I’m going to say – the Women’s US Open was held this year at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, and it just happened to be won by a great Korean golfer, Sung-hyun Park.”

Hopefully mr trump will be sent to one of the prisons with golf courses in them, because i don't imagine a guy this work-shy could survive without his creature comforts.

I personally can't wait for 2020. Sjw tears is such sweet schadenfrueden(spelling??) I love the fact that the alt left is allowed to have a voice and their ideas are freely shared. Wish the other side felt the same way. Free speech is a great thing, the bad ideas are rejected and the good ideas rise to the top.
 
Some posters have trouble keeping China and North Korea straight, like which one had the basketball players and which one had the idiot missionary--news is hard! He probably means 20/20 the TV show, and it's just a weird Barbara Walters fetish.
