Lol like funny how?
I called on Ebola to come in and be the arbiter here. He's pretty liberal, but I think he will agree all countries don't deliver the same level of justice.

I will certainly agree with that Droppers. But you also have to respect the laws of the country you are in. Do the crime. Do the time. I had a mate do 10 years in an overseas jail for smuggling coke in surfboard fins. He didnt give anyone up, did the time standing on his head and is now a very successful person

what is your issue with the nhs?

alasdair
I don't know too much about it...probably just falling for propaganda.... Sounds lovely. Moreover, the lack of choice for those who can afford better and (i read) come to the us. Also the recent baby that was refused a chance of life by not allowing family to come to the us for alternative rxment....Charlie Guard. The death panels are effective propaganda for scaring Americans like me against a nhs for here.

ok. thanks.

My emotions get the best of me!!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/201...denied-potentially-life-saving-treatment-nhs/

n eight month old boy being denied “potentially life-saving” treatment at Great Ormond Street would be given it at any hospital in America, a court has heard.

The parents of terminally ill Charlie Gard broke down in tears as they listened to medical evidence relating to his rare genetic condition and what his doctors say is a “vanishingly small” chance of his survival.

But an American doctor who has agreed to attempt a pioneering treatment for his mitochondrial disorder, said that it was “reasonable” to attempt to save his life and if he were in a hospital in the USA his parents would have the option.

By its very design, single payer, national health, however you wanna call it when you fundamentally alter (more and more) the doctor/patient relationship and how you pay for that. And that's not for usa if you ask me. We must do better than the va. My dad seems happy with his Medicare.

Yeah...I found a wealth of UK based articles speaking of long waits and substandard care but...chose to focus on that case because it epitomizes what I feel when I claim socialism takes away choices from those who can afford to make them. I am told such thinking is "selfish" but the reverse can also be said to be true.

Lol at the stuff on the NHS and death panels. Or I should say it would be lol if it wasn't so sad that people probably believe what they think they think.

My thinking was his family wanted to try, had the offer, and were refused. That's.... Not acceptable....just my opinion.

Is this about Charles Manson or the baby Charlie Gard?

My post was about Charles Manson, the guy who was involved in what are known as the Tate-LaBianca murders and his "family" of serial killers. He died in California of natural causes (allegedly)!

And wish for "something different" than the NHS, or "expanded medicaid" and "choice"; get all three, like it, then vote to repeal it. Upon learning what they did, proudly shit on other countries.

Meanwhile, net neutrality was just repealed. Let's see which causes the bigger outrage. Hopefully this will cause Netflix and Google to take on this admin.

Prediction: "Well, I support CHOICE when it comes to whether I can only see Time-Warner websites or AT&T websites. Treating all web traffic the same? Well, that's communist. Might as well just shackle me now and set fire to the flag.......lol but im open to learning"

given it? as in for free? no. not really.

i think if the kid's parents wanted to put him on a plane and bring him here for treatment they should have had that option.

The ‘choice’ was taken away by the British courts, not the NHS. Are you saying we have socialist courts? You’re using of this case involving a baby, for your own political ends, is about as low as anyone can go.

The American doctor involved, Hirano, has since admitted he had a financial interest in pursuing what he did. He never saw Charlie Gard until he had made his pronouncements of false hope, nor did he read crucial documents relating to the case before going on his crusade.

And you have selectively quoted one out of context right wing newspaper article to back up your ‘view’. You should feel great about your ignorance.

Your take has helped me to understand how and why Otto Warmbier died. Stealing propaganda warrants the death penalty for sure :\

Jaheesus whom do you think is right here?

Both make solid points.

Im not sure the reasoning behind first world / Western Justice systems is sound but I think that as an American citizen that has committed "crimes abroad" that my country would do everything in it's power to get me back here alive.

I'm also fine with sending Mexicans back to Mexico if they committed a crime here, but i do see how many would argue that they should be tried and punished here.

Unfortunately US consulates do very little for American citizens locked up abroad. They notify your family and occasionally make sure you are not being beaten but that's about it. Unless you have political juice like lonzo Balls brother

I don't want to name names (Droppersneck), but someone might not understand that China and North Korea are two whole separate countries. With two whole different governments and economies and stuff.

President Xi and associated (Chinese) communist apparatchiks just scored huge bonus points on looking good on human rights.

North Korea is a different story. Otto Warmbier showed signs of being tortured. (He was in North Korea, which has a supreme leader named Kim Jong Un.)

Jah-cutie: I would like to hear from victims of such crime (i.e., crime committed by Mexican citizens who are able to be tried here or in Mexico) to see what they might want.
Also, I'm not familiar with international law specific to Mexican citizens. Interesting question.

No offense but you clearly do not know much about the CCP. You should start watching chinauncensored on yt, it's a great unbiased news show about china.

The Chinese government was smart enough to release three high profile Americans unharmed to a publicity monster and they now seem to care about human rights.

Is there a yt link for why Trump didn't 'rescue' Warmbier sooner?
