2017 Trump Presidency Thread

If you're comparing the debunked mining thing from Clinton's SoS time, you made a bad one. That one's for the Clinton thread anyway.

No one is uncomfortable or afraid of your parroted alt-right rconspiracy theories. They're annoyied with your spam.
Posting proof that your debunked theories are wrong pulls away even more from the topic.
This being a great example.
HILLARY HILLARY HILLARY HILLARY
I'm not scared or uncomfortable. Ooh.

Mueller isn't looking at a speech fee or some debunked conspiracy theory. You keep believing that there's nothing and don't wonder why Trump became so interested in pardons. He was just curious. Then he pardons a horrible person, former Sheriff Joe Arpaio, having been in office less than a year without any due diligence regarding the individual.
Too bad he can't pardon crimes prosecuted at the state level.

Not really. No real impact, but a scarily large number. I think the US debt to GDP is well within the world's norm.

Yes you are afraid of my questions that's why you refuse to answer them and instead label them "alt-right conspiracy theories".
I'm simply asking questions of certain members to identify their reasoning and expose how flimsy and hypocritical some of their logic is - hence the repeated non-answering.

Hillary's behavior matters, simply for the fact that many people believe that she should be president over Trump. If her behavior is worse than Trump's, well that kinda fucks your entire argument hence why my questions are ignored.

Mueller isn't looking at a speech fee or some debunked conspiracy theory.
Why do you keep saying "debunked"? Snopes telling you that there's "nothing to see here" doesn't debunk a scandal, That shit is still very legitimate and ignored for that reason. It must be ignored in order to properly go after The Donald.
In context, the attacks against him are laughable.

We don't really know what happens behind the scenes. I believe Trump has done a lot of things he regrets. He's not that great as a person and much less as a leader. With time I hope his followers can accept that even Trump himself knows he's making a lot of mistakes. This is his first job and he has no experience at all with what he's working with. Even if he was a reasonable person it would have been natural to expect these things to happen. There are no persecution or conspiracies IMHO.

Yes you are afraid of my questions.

If I post that I am, will you stop spamming threads with conspiracy theories from whackjob websites?

Hillary's behavior matters, simply for the fact that many people believe that she should be president over Trump.

No, it doesn't. See Bush v. Gore. Many people believed Gore should have been President. Another investigation?

Why do you keep saying "debunked"?

In what context is a lack of fitness for the office of POTUS laughable?

To recap, I understand "collusion" and the legal definition of "conspiracy"
However, you need to be disabused as to what a theory is and isn't.

As Scrofula, who is a scientist of the first water, tried to explain to you, a theory is a hypothesis for which a very high burden of proof has been met. In fact, theories are not considered absolutely proven in a spirit of healthy skepticism.

No contrary data of any significance can exist for a theory to remain as such.
Since you ignore evidence against a theory, perhaps you can at least understand that a high burden of proof must still be met, or there is no theory to debunk. It's just a hypothetical, or utter "shit" that has no legitimacy and should be ignored.

Take it up with Vladimir, if you have the cojones.

You think you're a sneaky little fuck, using español for the sexist terms you've been warned about?
Language like this is exactly why there are so few females on BL. We do communicate.
My sex/gender isn't relevant. Stop with the sexist garbage.

Yes I take pride in being able to answer the questions asked of me.

Can you answer the below question posted 17-08 for me?
I am just curious Liquid, if you could define racism for me? We obviously are having a problem communicating in regards to racism. I would like to know your definition so that I can better understand your point of view.

Peace- grsh

A little bit of light humor from RedState, a conservative media source:

The Five Stages of Trump Train Grief

Stage One: Denial. This was the first one we’ve seen. “FAKE NEWS!” Everything’s fake news if they can’t handle the truth.

Stage Two: Anger. This one came a little later. Suddenly the key words were “DEEP STATE!” Everything was a vast conspiracy.

Stage Three: Bargaining. Here’s the newest one we’re really starting to see now. “HE MAKES DEALS!” is the new catch phrase after he sold out to Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, giving away his demand to build the wall.

Stage Four: Depression. We’re not seeing a lot of this one yet, but when Alex Jones starts saying that the real reason Trump is having problems is that HE’S SECRETLY BEING DRUGGED, well, it’s coming.

[Note: Roger Stone was also on the Alex Jones show promoting this idea.]

Stage Five: Acceptance. This will come. It may not come for a while, but eventually the line will be “HE WAS CORRUPT ALL ALONG. I SUPPORTED TED CRUZ.”

REVEALED: The Five Stages of Trump Train Grief

No lol I don't want you to be afraid, I just want you to answer the questions.

No, it doesn't. See Bush v. Gore. Many people believed Gore should have been President. Another investigation?
If Gore was starting a bunch of wars, and his supporters said that Bush should be removed for starting wars, then that might be relevant.
How can you say that Hillary's actions don't matter? Nonsense.

In what context is a lack of fitness for the office of POTUS laughable?
When the person who you think would do a better job is even more unfit.

To recap...
If you cared about evidence then you wouldn't dismissively refer to serious crimes as "her emails.."

You think you're a sneaky little fuck, using español for the sexist terms you've been warned about?
Language like this is exactly why there are so few females on BL. We do communicate.
My sex/gender isn't relevant. Stop with the sexist garbage.
There actually seems to be more females on BL than I expected and I think that's great.
I'm not sexist but I do recognize the wonderful biological differences between the sexes.
I also don't mean any offence when I use gender-specific similes.

Sorry, my bad:
Racism: a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.

Definition of racism

1 :a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
2 a :a doctrine or political program based on the assumption of racism and designed to execute its principles
b :a political or social system founded on racism
3 :racial prejudice or discrimination

So your definition is pretty spot on with the first definition available at Merriam-Webster Dictionary, however it is not the full the definition, and the complete definition is important. A lot of minorities feel that Trump has (#3) "racial prejudice or discrimination"- based on how he speaks regarding people in reference to their race. When using a term that describes a person by race (i.e.- he's Mexican, and I am building a wall... (see below for the interview that I am quoting), and state that because of that race he/she is not effective in their job, it is racist.

Here is the absolutely racist remark (please note that this interview is regarding Judge Gonzalo Curiel and the case against Trump University):
TAPPER: I don't care if you criticize him, that's fine. You can criticize every decision. What I'm saying, if you invoke his race as a reason why he can't do his job.
TRUMP: I think that's why he's doing it. I think that's why he's doing it.

Can you explain to me, why it is not racist, to pass judgement on someone due to his or her race?

Respectfully- grsh

I don't think anybody can. It's pretty naive to believe he's not racist. He's made racist comments during all his life and acted accordingly. Nothing can or will change that.

Can you explain to me, why it is not racist, to pass judgement on someone due to his or her race?
Because it is not racist - Mexican is not a race, and he was insinuating that the judge with familial ties to the state of Mexico might hold a political grudge against him for his Wall rhetoric. That comment would still be applicable if the dude had light skin. He was in no way saying that the race or skin color of that person was inhibiting them for doing their job, which would have been racist. And honestly, out of the hundred times that I demanded examples of Trump's racism from all the consistent shriekers of "racist" here, this comment directed at the judge was considered the worst. And it's not even racist. You may disagree with Trump's campaign rhetoric (a lot of it I do disagree with) but you all have demonstrably failed to provide solid evidence of Trump being racist.

Nothing can or will change that.
Try harder.

Tell me, why did so many Hispanics vote for Trump? He did better with minorities than Mitt Romney.
So by your flawed and subjective logic - Mitt Romney is more racist than Donald Trump.

Do I have that right?

Because it is not racist - Mexican is not a race, and he was insinuating that the judge with familial ties to the state of Mexico might hold a political grudge against him for his Wall rhetoric.

How is Mexican not a race? It is not an ethnicity, but it is a race. Please explain to me how it is not.

Do I have that right?
Trump made a statement, that because the judge was Mexican, he could not or would not fairly sit in judgement of a case against Trump due to Trump's policies with Mexico. BECAUSE HE IS MEXICAN= Racism.

As for trying harder to change Trump's racism... how are we supposed to do that?
