I must be insane to keep posting here but....

It was not a defeat. It was a bad bill and grateful it wasnt pushed through. There is no need to rush something this vital.

Yes multiple people have resigned over the russian thing, there are many active investigations going on, a whole dossier even. But no evidence at all right? Plenty of evidence for something Trump and insane conspiracy theorists have totally pulled out of their assholes with zero evidence thought.

^the sweetest part about that is they've had over 8 years to create some kind of meaningful alternative but mr policy wonk took 5 minutes to create something that looked like it was made by a mental patient with crayons
 
Yeah...so what? If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor, save the average american family xx each year. I get the idea you would prefer an awful bill be passed so you can say I told you so.

No matter what, DJT is not the congress. If there was any failure, and I see no such thing having occurred, it was on Paul Ryan's end for producing such a snitty bill.

There was many investigations into hillary and the left called it a witch hunt

But of course they'll get on board with a witch hunt if Trump is the target 8) Because congress and the intelligence community are known for their transparency ;)
 
You can say he's defeated but at the end of the day he's still president.
He doesn't seem to give a fuck what people think of him and is president so I don't think he would feel defeated.

Hillarys trouble was an email server. Trumps is collusion with Russia to influence the election. Apples and Oranges

This would be srsly sinister w/Russia and Syria deflecting the issue with the chemical attack, but I don't put it past any of them

That's because if you keep having investigations over and over that find the same thing every time it is a witch hunt. Lets have at least one independent investigation on Trump then we'll talk.

it's also amusing/sad/disappointing/whatever that trump and his followers were raging about hillary's email issue but when 'their guys' do it, it's no problem.

conway, spicer, bannon and others are using a private email server. frankly, it's possible that they're genuinely not using it for govt. work but, given trump's position on hillary's use of a private email server, why on earth would his staff choose to do it too? lock him up! lock him up!

further, if a single email containing email passed through the server and the data was not correctly forwarded to the govt. within a certain time (two weeks i think), the a crime has been committed. see: Lock Him Up: Trump’s White House Is Using a Private Email Server

many politicians are hypocrites, but the level of hypocrisy at play in the trump administration is very high.

They just dont give a shit. They portrayed themselves as the warriors for the middle class but everything they have done so far only helps the corporate interests that fund their campaign. Oil companies, coal companies, energy companies, banks, they want to wind back the testing regulations on pharmaceuticals, letting companies sell peoples data...its breathtaking.

That's exactly what is happening now. 5 months now and still zero evidence and all speculation.

of course. i mean we're only two months in and it's a disaster. his approval is the lowest pretty much any president has ever had at this stage.

i think a lot of people who gamely gave him a shot have already realised that they were taken in by his lies. it's going to be interesting to see what this looks like in four years looking back (if he makes it that long).

I think his real approval is somewhere between 40-45% which isn't that bad

Just a whole lot of asshurt that hillary's campaign spent over a billion dollars and still lost :)

is this like the unemployment figures? when he didn't like them they were fake and when he did they were real? even sean spicer couldn't keep a straight face when he tried to spin that.
