2017 Trump Presidency Thread

No interest in following what the amendment actually says and being part of a well-regulated militia, eh? I always love how so many people who claim to care about the constitution are so open about their derision for it and how they refuse to acknowledge any parts of it that disagree with their biases.
I am interested actually.

But overthrowing our political system would require more than just firearms. Explosives would be needed to disable and destroy infrastructure.

i'm delighted to be watching the trainwreck known as president trump gaining momentum. soon it will culminate in an epic failure, if his shortcomings so far are not yet indicative of himself being anything but a failure

Read an article today about how much money team trump gets from lobbying etc. Its obscene. He didn't drain the swamp...just pumped raw sewerage into it.

There's a lot of people that believes he will be impeached in less than four years. Some sources say that up to 44% of all the Americans. And if this Russia link/connection is actually proved even more people will support the idea.

I think the Russian thing is going to bring him undone and they know it. Why else the massive effort to deflect attention away from it.

President Trump's Approval Ratings Just Hit Another Low

from the article:

According to the poll, the majority of Americans also believe the following about the president:

  • “He is not honest”
  • “He does not have good leadership skills”
  • “He does not care about average Americans”
  • “He is not level-headed”
  • “He does not share their values”
Additionally, 52% of voters say they are embarrassed to have Trump has president, according to the poll.

“President Donald Trump continues to struggle, even among his most loyal supporters,” said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll, in a statement. “Many of them would be hard pressed to see even a silver lining in this troubling downward spiral.”
(my emphasis)

his core supporters - some of whom are not swayed by his constant lying, all his broken promises, his incredible hypocrisy on presidential time-off and spending on business travel, etc. - aside, he's already disappointed a lot of people who voted for him and it just gets worse by the day.

we're only 2 and a half months (5%) into his term. how much more awful will it get?

The muh russia thing is just an excuse for 1. the hilarious failure of the democrats and establishment republicans. 2.Distract from the likelihood that barry spied on DT. The left now sides with the cia (who have interfered in the politics of dozens of countries) and john mccain..lol

The only foreigner who meddled in the election is obama =D

called it.

deny all you want, ryan, but you are in the minority now. a majority of americans believe that: he is not honest; he does not have good leadership skills; he does not care about average americans; he is not level-headed; he does not share their values.

the 'honeymoon' period lasted for all of about 5 minutes and now his his lack of experience and qualification are becoming clear to everybody.

and you can deny the russia thing all you want. you're being disingenuous if you deny that, if all this shit about russia was happening to a democrat, you would be incandescent with rage...

Nope. It was a democrat who interfered with brexit, and the most recent israeli and French elections. Not to mention allowing the leader of germany to be spyed on. It's just projection. Accuse Trump of what they've been doing for years.

He'll never be impeached. That would be the end of the GOP. Dems won't win the midterms, they still haven't learned their lesson. Footage of mentally ill leftists rioting and pepper spraying random people will make great campaign ads.

Hatred for Russia stems from these things:

Bombing west funded terrorists

Trying to pay off their debt

Not borrowing from private banks

Being Majority Christian and fair skinned

Rejecting western liberalism (they banned people from countries with legal gay marriage from adopting Russian children)

Yes they do, especially for the ones who weren't even born or were little kids during the last years of the USSR. I actually think if it was still Soviet Russia they would like them.

China spies on us, bully and taunt their neighbours, angrily reacts everytime we sail throughout the south china sea, and threatens war over those islands. Because they are a socialist state, the left praises them.

Using that logic, we should still hate Japan and Germany since we lost hundreds of thousands of men fighting them. Cuban missile crisis wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the bay of pigs invasion. If I was Castro, I would have wanted those ICBMs too.

And those first 3 points were referring to why people like mccain and grahem are warmongering. We all know how America shills for elite bankers, they must be getting pissed that Russia is trying to become self sufficient. And of course all that wasted money going to rebels/isis who get fucked.

This Syria situation pisses me off, war over Syria not why I voted for Trump. If Democrats start war protests over a war they've been screaming for I'll be LMAO (and maybe go pull masks off antifa and find some reasonable people to protest the war with)

Trump seems to have discovered that running the country is far different than running a business.

If a deal falls through in business, there's always someone else.

If a deal falls through in government, you still have to work with the people until at least the next election cycle.

I wonder if the Freedom caucus hold grudges...

I don't really believe the Russia thing led to him winning the election and any true leftists should stfu about it, Hillary was a bad candidate period. But the fact that they covered up is what's going to lead to eventual impeachment and I can't wait. Watergate 2.0
