TBF Dave is like Ivanovic was like for us initially, so out of shape it will take him a few months to get in shape

Ill take the score of 5-4, we gave it a good go, playing very well considering the team we had. I thought we played very well, went downhill when chelsea brought on all the big guns, and we took off anderson and welbeck. Anyway onwards ! A good run out for them I feel for wooton though, big game for him and keane. Next up Arsenal, oh and liverpool continue to be a laughing stock.

Also chelsea have swansea away then shaktar in the CL, hopefully everyone is getting nice and tired

a great game and a great comeback from chelsea
glad we had ten changes since sunday so that we have a fresh team for arsenal on saturday

still on the right road for the prem league, champ league and fa cup so theyre the big ones to aim for

easy run in for chelsea with the teams left in the carling cup or whatever its called these days


one thing though - were the chelsea fans booing cos it was halloween, or booing the black players for united, or booing cos the officials were taking their spotlights by being accused of being racists. MINDFUCK!
 
It was Man U, probably shooing the away fans from trying to break into their cars.

Interesting few days. The League cup generally means nothing to me and as much as it hurts to drop points in the premiership what I have seen of both teams this year I am more confident of Chelsea's young crew getting the job done over the course of the whole season. Hazard is all class and Oscar will only get better.

TBH hazard is proving to be quite a signing, as is oscar

its going to be a long season, i see united and chelsea (if they can keep their momentum for a change) battling it out till the death

not sure about city right now but time will tell

Good game, loved the way United's midfield was playing in the second half at 2-2 and 2-3 when it was end to end counterattacking.

RA: I think Chelsea were booing Giggs because someone had racially abused Rhodri at a FC United game? Hard to tell though. Maybe they were jealous cos Giggs shagged his brother's wife while Terry only shagged his mate's ex?
 
Ipswich Town now have a new manager,Mick McCarthy.
He's got a tough job ahead of him as we are currently sat at the bottom of the table with a team mostly consisting of short term loan players.
Have to give him a while and hopefully we will start to see some improvements,can't exactly get much worse.
Fingers crossed that he can do the job required of him.
 
I've been thinking how hard it must have been being a Tractor Boy of late .

Marcus Stewart he's a legend @ Bristol Rovers & Ipswich . That season when he got 20+ prem goals him n Scott Muarry were getting pissed right up in the South West every weekend after the match & most other spare time then going back to East Anglia he's a legend down here.
 
Forgot to add, kind of piss annoying I was working the Arsenal V Reading game, can say it like anyman can but shit you not I was trying frantically to put arsenal to qualify, had a gut feeling for some reason, only the remaining £15 in my account but at 66/1

Anyway Ladbrokes alone lost £150,000 on that game from people doing the same thing, bookies took a nice dunt not sure about the others

Ooh, still tickets available (if you buy them as part of a three ticket deal for the Arsenal and Reading games, but from only £65 in total, which is less than you'd pay to see Arsenal once probably).

edit: actually you can buy individual tickets, but only if you have a "booking history". Hmm.

Tempted. Teach me some of the Villa songs so I can pretend to be local?
 
You can fuck your Man U - Chelsea games. What really matters is that Ipswich Town actually won their game at the weekend.

1 More goal in the Benfica - Spartak game and I would have got a nice 380 off a 10er grrrr anyway good win for celtic. UTD where shocking untill the final quarter, still 12 points and qualification.
 
That's an unbelievable effort from Celtic there. They'll be doing well to keep Wanyama. He looks a good player.
