Ireland beat Faroes 3-0. Not great should be putting a few more past the part timers, still three points is all you get. Austria beat Sweden so the table is tighter race for second place. Germany as group winners

I have no faith in Stuart Pearce though, the guy is an out and out dunce when it comes to tactics .

One of the good things about the game is that an Asian( Indian) generation player is finally making their mark on world football.
I dont think there has been one so far but Harmeet Singh of Feyenoord and the Norway u21's is tipped as a future star of world football, which can only be a good thing if they want to break the stranglehold that Cricket has over India

A day or so late but Id like to say a big fuck off to the Croatian squad cunts mouthing off, drinking nights out before the game and what they are going to do to us. Revenge is sweet and brilliant result for Scotland shadow squad.
 
Italy cruised to victory with Israel, 4-nil, good result, they did lose one butcher of a player who got a red card after he sent Insigne to the hospital. Already in the semi-finals, we'll see how the youngsters will fare against better opposition.

The senior's game against the Czech Republic was dire, terrible turgid performance, no ideas, no motivation, barely any shots on target, the idiot got sent off and reacted badly in the tunnel, I'd put Immobile up there, probably more reliable than Balo already.

Decent games last night, should be a decent Confederation Cup even though as a tournament it's worthless. Still a bit of football in the summer is always good, so can't be complaining really. Nice shots from both Pirlo and Suarez, very good from set-pieces.
