Hahaha the referee has fucked that right up it looks like. Oh well a fair few riots in Madrid tonight I reckon!

Now thats what you call a game.
Some of the playacting was world class( Gabi take a bow) , but so was a lot of the play.

Fantastic entertainment from start to finish and never a dull moment. Great atmosphere as well.

As great a servant as Cech has been for us over the years ( even that great save in the Europa Final) We would be mad to not have Courtois as our #1 next year ,only 20 years old and already looks like the best keeper in the world.

Alonso is always quality.
Diego Godin was superb as well.

I feel for Kaka, cant even get on the pitch . He deserves better as I still think he is quality. Certainly better than Modric who was simply awful tonight.

Haha fuck sake. Always an excuse for a riot in Spain. I remember a few years ago when Barcelona beat Arsenal to win he Champions League there were riots with the police everywhere in the center.

Tough on Brentford today. Would have liked to see them go up.

Lukaku giving Man Utd fits, hat trick and now 5-5, will be some player when he comes back to Chelsea. probabaly needs another loan though still only a kid.

Everton ran us ragged first half, understandable given the Europa hangover, Utd will be some team when Moyes takes over, his everton team played some really good stuff today. First half they were superb

Torres finish was superb and he looked great after that. 22 goals in a season isnt bad for someone who gets so much stick, and good to hear the Paulo Ferriera chants at the end !! Great servent to the club.

lol@ Arsenal celebrating 4th place like they won the Champions league itself.

Poor Spurs missing out though, couldnt have happened to a nicer manager :)

Edit- Milan currently about to 'do a Spurs' and get dumped out of the CL before it even starts !!

^^ Nope, Milan turned things around last minute..

Thanks fuck for that, our UEFA coefficient in is the mud, we're about to lose the third CL spot to Portugal, unless performances in Europe improve a lot, Fiorentina would have been like Udinese, a waste of a CL spot, MIlan is the only team apart from Juve that can realistically invest in good players and retain their current ones. Last season Udinese qualified for the CL(third spot, which equates to fourth in England, so preliminary rounds in the summer) yet sold something like 9 players, they only kept Di Natale.

It's unfortunate to say this and I do feel dirty but we need rich teams in the CL or else our standing is going to further deteriorate.

Would agree with all of that Kenny. Still if I were a Fiorentina fan I would be a bit pissed. 6 mins away from CL and Milan need to score twice and Hey presto they get a dodgy penalty and 3 mins later the winner. Plus if Fiorentina got CL they could possibly have kept Jovetic
Given Italian footballs recent history, Theres no smoke without fire yada yada.

Italian ref been named for this weekends Bayern-Dortmund game as well. So not out of the realm of possibility that a dodgy decision could happen there !

Now that the season is over the rumor mill has gone into overdrive.
Real Madrid had a board meeting today and have announced a press conference tonight at 7pm.
Bit of a strange move for a Monday and with 2 games left.

Could mean
A- Jose Fired ( Something he wants so he can get his £10m payoff)
B- Ancelotti or Benitez for next year?
C- Some lame announcment about a commerical sponsor or a player announcing retirement

If Real do want Benitez they face competition from Napoli.
Some reputable Twatter ITK said Benitez to Napoli is a done deal.
Wonder where Walter Mazzari will end up?

And that still leaves the likes of Mancini,Ranieri, and possibly even Jupp Heynckes on the roundabout(unless he wins the CL and retires as expected)

Edit- Real Confirm Jose to leave at end of season.

He's coming home !!

I read that Mourinho and the Real board agreed by mutual consent to part ways, basically if they fired him they would have to pay him compensation, however at the same time Mourinho had a 20 million release clause in his contract, which potential employers would have had to pay to get him. So basically he just left and did not get any money.

PSG have said they want to keep Ancelotti and make him run out his contract. Rafa could become interim Real manager.

This seems to be a very interesting transfer summer.

I reckon If that were the case they would have just kept him and pushed for some compo from Chelsea when the season was over.
The club elections are on june 16th and the president has to be seen to be doing something ( ie pushing for Ancelotti or fawning over icons like Casillas) in order to curry favor with the masses.( not that anyones standing against him)

I think what they probably did was split the difference of some of the contract and told Jose to leave. I am sure he didnt walk empty handed , nobody would if they had a contract till 2016 at 12 million euro a year.

Rafa another "Interim" now that would be ironic given the way he spat his dummy at being Chelsea "Interim"

Inter Milan just had an awful season, wonder who might take over there?
I cant see Spaletti staying at Zenit for much longer.
Hiddink's Anzhi contract is also up

Not like Mourinho needs the money anyway.. I'd like to see Jupp Heynckes moving to Real this summer.

Doubt he would ever set foot in the place after being fired minutes after winning the Champions league for them in 1998.
By all accounts he is retiring after the final on Saturday.

Yeah I know chances are pretty slim, I just like the man and I think Real could do with a likeable character

Jose Mourinho back to Chelsea ? Do he and the Abramovich get on ? Hes the Big Boss after all
I actually thought Jose might go to Man City. Even deeper pockets and less of a history for him to worry about

Reckon there will be a good season ahead. Fergie retiring kinda evens up the field a little for everyone else. Be interested to see the title odds
