both parties are to blame, but I say the owners are the bigger douche bags in this

no NFL! it's just un-American. what am I going to do??

Bullshit

average NFL salary is three quarters of a million dollars a year, and the average time a player spends in the NFL is 3 seasons. That means that the NFL sends most people away after making just a few millions-- a feat most doctors or lawyers could easily top in their careers, and they don't face brain injury for their money, either. Meanwhile, the owners subsidize any major capitol outlays (like new stadiums that they force municipalities to pay for-- or face seeing their team leave), while extracting most of the revenue from ticket sales and merch.

Most players making sub 1mil are bench warmers anyways. The ones sacrificing their bodies on game day make much more on average. And to be honest im ok with average nfl players not living like rockstars.

They really just need to go with the old contract, add more stringent hgh testing and tone down rookie salaries.

i can't decide who is worse...congress or the nfl. the similarities are almost scary.

bunch of fucking scumbags, all of them.

Looks like the Dolphins are going to be drafting Ryan Mallet. I'm still not sure whether this is a good or bad thing.

is it possible to keep a rich redneck away from cocaine in miami??

I don't think so. You guys need to draft out of BYU.

If Reggie White is any indication, I want all of my players on cocaine.

Doesn't matter anyways though, oxy is the big thing down here right now. I want all of my players shooting speedballs minutes before gametime. The Dolphins would never lose.

^ that made me a great college football player

I think drafting Mallet is a great thing for Miami. Henne is mediocre, but I don't think he will ever be able to transcend mediocrity. Ryan Mallet has a small chance to elevate past that status

Living motherfucking proof to my statement. Give Mallet the finest fishscale Miami has to offer.

Although from what I have been led to believe, oxycodone, amphetamines and steroids are NFL player preferences. Mallet needs to step up from cocaine to some pharmaceutical d-amphetamine, and get on those painkillers Brett Favre style.

not even a big deal. I've been stabbed by women about 3 times in my life, and I'm not making this up... why do I have to have a thing for latinas?

but on the topic of hilarious NFL injuries, I remember when Joey Porter was playing for the Steelers (in his bad ass prime, no less) and got shot in the ass. the dude played the next day, haha

Judge sides with players in brady vs nfl. Appeal date set for a month from now. So supposedly will be able to trade players during the draft and hold practices soon.

trade players DURING the draft?

this shit is going to be wild! this just made my Draft Day tons more interesting and fun
