Is it just me that thinks a meet up in a castle in poland where its very remote and the exact specific location has already been released is a bad idea, also if it was in a city such as Amsterdam there might be one big meet up where most people go to a club or something but everyone can do other stuff together and there is more places to stay and more to do, than if you were confined to just a small castle in however nicer location it may be.

Also surely the country with more relaxed drug laws is a better idea, I mean I don't think anyone from this website uses drugs but in the case that some of the more stranger ones do, this would be a good idea.

I also mentioned the idea of a seperate forum with different divisions as to areas, venues for meet ups, accomodation and even group booking flights from different countries earlier in this thread, if this message board was private people could be added to it over time if new people joined and wanted to come and seemed nice. They could have their password PM'd to them on this site to make it extra private.

Seems like you have to have at least 1000 posts on your postameter these days to get anyone to agree! lol

re the castle: i did some googling and renting one for a week would be CHEAP, around 175 per person if there are 20 people!! 8o
i was kinda surprised they would be that cheap. if that was what we did, the benevolent dictator would have to dictate and hand out rooms according to how much we paid, too many diff sleeping quarters, and i see a surreal life moment coming when we fight over beds 8(

edit again, i must have been high, or misread teh prices, i can't imagine why i believed the price was around 3500 a week, that would be impossible....lemme find it.

lol, cmon we don't give enough credit to a lot of blers, not all of them are poor druggies, we have some responsible people who have great jobs and plenty of spare cash!! the po folks who can't afford a room can sleep outside in tents. kinda like the peasants, and we will be royalty. we can make em fetch our water for baths, itll be cool.
 
Agreed, Mashead. I'm not too keen on a castle out in the crack hole of no where to be honest. Harry always recommends that place whenever there's a sniff of a meet up ... I reckon it's just beause the lazy bugger doesn't want to travel !!

We should probably bandy together a few places over the next few months/years and do a poll on them.
 
You guys don't know what you're missing. Castle parties always rock, just ask the die hard Kryal fans in Australia. :D You do have to keep in mind though that Kryal Castle isn't a real castle, and I'm sure the castle in Poland would be much more authentic and cooler. :D

I'm up for Amsterdam or Polish castle studies. Yummo imagine the good food and drink in Poland. :D I know you have a point Mash, but it IS in 3 years time and if we made our own forum now, then it probably wouldn't be an issue. It would also be a good idea to make a proper decison asap and stick to it, then make the other forum up. I assume it's going to be Amsterdam though.
 
Let's have the meetup at White Castle.

That would fit within everyone's meal budgeting. Maybe.
 
If I haven't been to Amsterdam by 2009 (and if I still visit this site) I'd seriously consider going to a meet up there. Bluelight in Amsterdam sounds like the stuff of legend. Can't miss that.

What season/how long of a stay are you guys thinking?

EDIT - OK I just saw that it'd be in June. That's one question answered.

i would imagine we could get this to work if we could settle on a place. if we did amstredam, people could rent apartments and houses.
