Well, at this point we decide if this project is better served growing as a meme, or as a centrally planned event. My vote is for planned event. Planned events need leaders, preferably ones who could lay any groundwork at the site (harry if we did the castle).
I don't think a sticky in any forum is a good idea. I actually think the idea of a journal run by someone elected to supervise the project would work well, because it could be segmented at will, without the hard work of say, the best of thread we did in PD years back), and people will still be able to to comment publicly as comments in the entry (did we fix the "next page" problem in the journal yet?(we=chris

)). People interested in going can continue to remain interested by doing exploratory work on travel prices, how long this thing will last, timing to anything interesting (a music festival or large field rave thingie would be cool). The bluelight meetup could even be a dupe account with its own journal you could add.
We allow this thread to stay open, getting bumped the way threads do. That or we merge it with the noodie thread.
That way, prople have a place to check for important information, and the forum thread continues to function as an ongoing brainstorming session.
