a multi destination world airfare might make starscape do-able along side my next china visit (and possible wedding ceremony) as well as other potentials.. :)

Hopefully it won't conflict with Gaian Mind like it did this year.
 
I'll admit meagre googling, but what exactly is Starscape? A general, all purpose, debaucherous outdoor festival?

Or specifically a psytrance, 'alternative', basket weaving barefoot mud orgy shindig?
 
Starscape is a festival in Baltimore, MD along the waterfront. The past years have been all DJs but this year it was DJs and jam bands like the Disco Biscuits. It's just a party with a good vibe, in a good location that a bunch of us have gone to every year, regardless of lineup. It's more like a planned meeting spot every year :)

I believe I can make it next year and I'll just tell the jobs for which I'm interviewing that I need time off for a "pre-planned" family reunion - it worked for me in '04 :)

In the top 5 "Times of My Life" category. :) I met so many wonderful people, reconnected with those I love, and partied my fucking ass off from the moment I landed until the moment I left.

This year was pretty kickass.

I have this necessity to always top myself though.

I wouldn't plan my life around that date just yet. That's what I did last year and is the main reason I wasn't there this year. They moved it one (or two, can't recall) week down and I'd already made other plans.

last year? i think that was 3 years ago (ss 03). it was in sept instead of june/july like it usually is. i think if they're announcing the date this far in advance, it's pretty likely for it to happen :)
