2005 Mlb!

It'll be Angels/Cards.

I actually really want the Astros to go, seeing as they're the underdog team here. But it seems that it's extremely doubtful.

They were actually talking up the Sox pen last night during the game that I saw. Garland pitched an awesome game, WS fans can't really complain about 4 hits off of pitching the entire game. Hell, I can't say anything about that even.

I've been a Angels fan before they won the series a few years back... Angels and Giants however bad they get or have gotten it's my home teams as far as I'm concerned. I'm not one for bandwagons, and even though that might make me look bad, I am loyal.

Throw it in my face later, it usually happens that way anyway. But there's my .02

id say it looks 50/50 in the NLCS, now if you were from houston, i would say the astros chances were much better.

but 50/50 seems pretty reasonable considering the astros have stolen home field advantage and houston has been unbe-freakin-lievable at home and no team lost at home last season. you guys have to realize that the astros are the best team in baseball past may 24th, thats the team that is playing in the NLCS

Yeah,I've been a Bagwell fan for years so i'm hoping the Astros will pull it out,but since I said that they probaly won't. Then my face would do this:X

I forgot you're an Angels fan Trancey.

Make that 3 people I know who are Angels fans heh.

Definately crushed because of my Angels, but from what I saw in the games they played against the Sox, the Sox deserve to go on to the Series. I was a bit drunk by the end of the game so I'm not going to get into that. At one point I was upset and tripped on my coffee table and hit my head. It was not pleasant.

White Sox/ Astros is what it's looking like now, the Cards pulling three wins in a row to take the series is kind of a long shot...but good for the Astros, obviously I didn't see either of these things happening. But then again it was wishfull thinking.

heh...and she even said something like "i've liked them since they were in the world series a couple years ago."

any team with a name that stupid doesn't deserve the post season.

how about ensberg pretending he called time out as larry walker was going to third in the 9th?

It was actually:
I've been a Angels fan before they won the series a few years back...

I also said:

And Jefe and Brian both can attest to that.

Fuck Yeah!!! White Sox in the series, finally. The Angels played some great ball though, I was very impressed with them.

I just want to preempt what many people are saying about the White Sox (especially Cub fans here in Chicago). They definitely earned a spot in the WS due to their excellent pitching and aggressive offense (1st inning scores). I know there were a few controversial calls, however even the worst umpiring will not solely be responsible for a team to take a series 4-1, especially when those wins are by more than 2 runs. Last year we witnessed history when the Red Sox finally broke their so-called "curse" and won the series. Hopefully we can see another long WS win drought broken again this year. I grew up 2 blocks away from the old Comiskey Park and my girlfriend lives 3 blocks away from US Cellular Field, so I'll be down there in the fray of Bridgeport for every home game.

Albert Pujols is the man.. Back to a real stadium for the conclusion of the NLCS.. Away from minute maid park aka fenway of the west and the crawford boxes..
