2005 Mlb!

i wish they hadnt moved this over here i hardly ever come over here. great sox win got to watch the last game with my dad we both shed a tear my mom looked at us like we were nuts. i got a nice trip to vegas coming. back to a couple of posts ago putting blumm was not a horrible move but a very good one. it was part of a double switch. the sox has almost no one on their bench left so it was him or ouzuna. blumm's a much better fielder plus he switchhits so it was the right decesion.

to bad about epstien could have happened at a worse time with having to re-sign damon and deal with manny. i hope they get it fixed soon dave.

The hate for Ozzie is hilarious. The guy did a helluva job and deserves the praise that goes with it. What you said about him falling into a good situation Dave, one could easily say about Terry Francona last season.

The Dodgers firing DePodesta after two seasons seems a bit premature, but the criticism was built up from the start of the year. Unfortunately injuries caught up and traumatized the season. I'm sure Billy Beane will be more than happy to re-hire DePo. Could Theo be on his way to LA?

Theo's on his way to South Africa to work with his brother Paul and/or Pearl Jam on social issues. He won't be in MLB this season.

and who ever said Francona was a great manager? :)

Are you getting at something?

I think Tito is above average as far as MLB managers go, but I don't think he's the best in the league.

I think as far as the primadonnas that have been through Boston, the numerous ego's, and Manny being Manny.. that he's done a very good job.

He's above average, even good. I never said he was great.

do you think thome has anything left in the tank? he's being mentioned as a replacement in case konerko leaves.

and to the surprise of no one except the 6 sportswriters from atlanta who thought francoeur, ryan howard wins NL rookie of the year.

how the phillies manage to fuck this up remains to be seen.

we like to think our leadoff man willy taveras was the frontrunner most of the season

congrats lapdawg if your still around the a's just signed frank thomas to dh. god i hope he's healthy.... if the ever is a power that fits beane's style to a t it was frank high average, great power, high on-base % if he can stay healthy great sign

^Hey I'd be happy with that TR. He'll only get 500k if that's all he can muster. :D

I am quite pleased by Billy's activities for the most part, as he seems to have put together a deep club together, one that has plenty of firepower to match wits with the best. Harden will have to return to form for them to be a real contender, but without him they sill may have enough to take the division.
