2004 Mushroom season( Victoria)

hehe, sacrifices to the mushroom god, sounds like a top idea :D

High pressure system means icey coldness doesn't it? It won't cause too much damage.

High Pressure is Bad, air moves from a high pressure system to a low pressure system. Pushing clouds with it. So low pressure = clouds and rain, high pressure systems mean sun and clear skys.

it depends on the position of the system as to how the winds move
rule of thumb is high pressure=no clouds, no wind in the eye
air will move anticlockwise around the system

low pressure results in the air moving clockwise and lotsa cloud cover

we want low pressure :)

haha im seeing hunters in every spot i visit.. its so funny cuz they pretend then dont see me and vice versa. if you see anyone walking aimlessly around in tanbark.. u know what to do ;) but to more important matters : Im having trouble finding this ellusive p.sub. Ive been hunting alot. I guess its just a matter of patience...

Just wait for more rain. I think we need a lot more to properly kick off the season. Some lucky people are finding em now but wait for a couple of days of solid rain and they'll be popping up everywhere.

thanks mongman for putting ur pics up online.. gives me a better idea of the type of surroundings p.subs grow in.. but dude, ur server is FUCKING slow.. ;)

sorry about the server, im running it on my computer and I only have 512/256 kbit ADSL so its not the best for a web server. I will post new picts every time I go hunting. Just remember I do take photos of other fungi as well so dont assume everything on the server is OK to eat!!

HAHA! i was out back just now and i lit up a joint and i noticed some little brown dots growing beside the big peice on bark.. and they are fuckin p.subs!!! they just stained blue..im get to work taking some pics.. but fuck.. ive been everywhere looking for these fuckers.. ive been hunting about 5 times now and found nothing! and all along they were in my garden!! im pretty baked right now so im pretty happy bout it ;) they are really fuckin tiny when small ima water them and watch nature do her magic ;) moral of this story : check your garden before going anywhere!

nice one endlesseulogy, dont water them to much as they can become water logged and die. But if its starting to get dry and we have no rain for a while give them a light spray.
