100 miles in 100 Days

Yeah lets do it! Im aiming for cycling 100km a day this time around. Shouldnt be too hard, ive gotten surprisingly fit from it so far! Hills i use to have to stop half way i can now fly up with ease!

Im thinking about doing a cycling tour around the top island of my country. Would be a 2500km journey. Im unsure at this moment but i have wanted to do this for a long time and now that im quite fit and getting more so everyday, the urge is growing. My estimation is that i can comfortably travel 150km a day, so would take me 2 weeks, maybe 3 if im a bit slow or there are some hold ups.

^ Does the rule of "just one update per week" still apply, to keep the thread from getting spammed updated every time someone walks/rides a mile? ;)

I am not getting a mountain bike until the end of summer so count me out.
I run/hike 17-21 miles a week so I know I kick ass ;)

^ Maybe you could join in with a slightly different goal, like aiming for, say, 30 miles in a week? Dunno how realistic that is though, as I'm used to biking, and adding a few miles over a week isn't that much of a time suck.

fuck dude I work 43-46 hours a week
I am not willing to up my cardio
I will concentrate on weight training and post here

Man. It's like sticker shock. You guys saw the number and your brains quit comprehending. I said I didn't know how realistic it would be, since I bike. 8(

It was a suggestion not a demand. Jesus.

lol. Btw yes, 30 miles/week is hard if you are not trained - it means 5 miles/day (for 6 days). I could not run 5 miles in one go, at the moment :P
20 is more reasonable (but not THAT easy, if you are not a runner. does walking to go to workplace count?)

It is about time management not stamina.
I know it wasn't a demand. If I wanted to "win" at this thread, I could.
That's why I said I didn't know how much of a time suck it would be. To go from 20 to 30 miles while biking is no big deal--Would add about six minutes a day if you were to ride at a decent clip. (If my math is anywhere near right this morning. :P)

Anywho. I ask again:

I run anywhere from 1-3.5 miles in a day. I have been doing this for the past month or so but I don't keep track of my total miles.
