Harm Reduction ⫸Official Plugging/Rectal Administration Megathread⫷

When you miss the vein or the needle slips out of the vein and you shot into the flesh around it. I have been taking prescription stims for treatment resistant depression for about 5 years (Dextroamphetamine and Vyvanse). Two months ago I got dropped by my provider for missing 3 appts. which I think is crazy mean for them to punish you for manifestations of the very disease you are treating them for. But that's just me. Anyway I'm still waiting to get in to see someone else and in that time I tried and started using meth, crazy STUPID I know. Well the penny pinching German in me didn't want to waste any (OK fine maybe it was a little OCD and a WEE bit addictive personality) and I tried shooting it. That didn't last long as I didn't know wtf I was doing and then my supplier got arrested so I got sober real fast (kicking and screaming). I got put back on Dextro but that damn German side said hey you can get the most out of it (without needles) by plugging. And so here I am.

I haven't noticed anything dripping which I would think would be highly noticeable!! But thank you for your reply.
 
I don't know if this will be helpful to anyone else but when I plug, after I push the plunger, I leave the syringe in place for about 15-20 seconds to make sure I don't get any drippage.
 
About to plug some K for the first time (I have used this method with other substances). Anyone care to offer up any insight before I take the plunge?
 
Have a little enema first and clean yourself out a little, then lay on your side for administration, with a little pad to hold your hips up, and the top knee drawn up to the fetal position, it should be quite comfortable. Don't use too much liquid, as small an amount as you can is best. If you have a syringe already you're good to go, once you inject just stay where you are for about 15 minutes. if you feel the urge to let it go, which you shouldn't because it gets absorbed, then you could capture it but well you know yeah . . . have fun out there, happy tripping . . . :)
 
Pinch, thanks but I know how to administer, just never done it with K. Anyway, I wound up falling asleep last night so I am going for it in about an hour.
 
snort the K, i've heard that plugging it is less effective for some reason. snorting is the de facto idea way to ingest it anyways. that being said, i've plugged mxe plenty of times and it's always worked
 
^ We can't safely give you a suggested dose. One dose that a person can find therapeutic, could be fatal for another person, this is especially true with methadone. There's even a large variance among opioid tolerant people. It is also difficult because the bioavailibility for plugging has a large variance too, iirc it's somewhere between 40-99%. Your best bet is to start as low as possible, and SLOWLY titrate your way up. Methadone has a long half life, and it's duration of action can last up to 12 hours, sometimes 1-2 days with regular users, so taking too much can have severe consequences..
 
I have a really specific plugging question. I was in a really bad accident when I was 17, which explains the opioid addiction, I was left with a permanent colostomy. My stoma, which is my intestine sewn to my belly is where the stool exits. I was recently switched from oxymorphone, which were great insuflated, to 30 mg morphine sulfate er and 15 mg ir. They suck insuflated and orally. I read that plugging them was best. My question is twofold, is that true and does anyone know if plugging it into my intestine through my stoma is the same as the rectal method?

Sorry Kleiner, although Codeine is a prodrug for Morphine, it can be taken rectally. Just as it can be used by any other route of administration (save for IV due to the possibility of Anaphylaxis). It will be metabolized into Morphine regardless of how it enters the body. In fact, rectal absorption of Codeine has been show to be more rapid that per the oral route with a negligible difference in Bioavailability between the two.
 
They don't bother making codeine suppositories. They do with Morphine though. That should tell you something. Here we got Pure codeine syrup, pure codeine tablets, Empracets 30/300 or 60/300, generic tylenol #1-2-3 (no 4), Codeine-Contins 50,100,150,200 and that's it.

There's also many ways I could explain why the B/A is much higher orally, but it's kind of a given and the only thing I ever plugged was a crushed mdma pill back in 2002 because of how it fucks with my stomach, only reason to.

I didn't say that it won't work, but by plugging it you bypass first-pass metabolism, thus wasting some codeine
 
Hey everyone,
this is fascinating! I can't believe everyone isn't doing it, I guess it must be due to the fear of sticking something up your arse!
Anyway can anyone recommend the best way to prepare UK H for plugging? I have ready through the entire thread and can't see the answer, sorry if this has been answerd already,

So I plugged ghb the other night twice. Both times, while waiting for the effects of the drugs I passed out, butt up high and pj's around the ankles.

Oh... to be a fly on the wall... or a Spyder...
 
If someone is plugging for the first time, and they usually take one 2mg of Hydromophone HCL, how much should they do for their first time plugging?
