Bluelighters and Fishing?

I find fishing really boring. But I recently went with my bf just because I enjoy spending time with him. I'm smack in the middle of the US so there is no ocean anywhere. We went fishing for bass and catfish.
I went fishing on the ocean once when I was in Wales, it was boring too, and cold.

I went surf fishing and fished in the bay all week and didn't catch anything at all. Of course, I went in the middle of the day, but it's not my fault the fish get up so damn early. Stupid fish. :P

Those stupid assed fish do get up way too early in the summer time. I don't fish at all in the summer because of that.

I can't wait to go fishin again. I had some really good times with my stepdad on the marsh in Savannah, smoking joints and reelin in some good-sized fish :D

Loves to go fishing also.I mainly go river fishing, all summer for catfish from my boat, bring beer, snacks, and a few joints=good time.I also have a buddy who lives in northern Michigan,he has designated trout stream that cuts right thru his property,in the fall we hit the salmon and in the spring we get steelhead and a few brown trout

Hell yea! I love fishing.. i get out about 2-4 days a week.. right now the mississippi is really high and fast.. so i have to travel 30-60min to fish.. which puts a damper on the wallet... but its all good..

i fish fresh water.. seeing as i live in the midwest.. actually i live 30min from some of the best trout waters in the whole US... its great.. i love trout fishing.. i also love fishing for largemouth bass and northerns.. actually i just love fishing in general.. as long as im catching fish im happy.. right now the suckers are starting to run.. what a fun time that is :D

excellent. I wish the wind would stop blowing for one freaking sunday so I could get out on the lake and drown some minnows. :(

Its animal cruelty

Are you a vegetarian? You ever notice how “animals” commonly treat each other? It’s a cruel world quit having such an unrealistic idealized expectation of some unicorns, orgasms and rainbows life.. this is earth and your going to get run over. It’s not a bad thing.. but certainly a forgone conclusion.

I'm vegan. People are the mothers of the world, no one needs to go around killing the weak and four legged. The disabled, the children. We are here to care take...

Quite the jump from fishing to killing the disabled and children. Life consumes life, often violently as you make your way up the food chain, it always has.

Edit: are you making sure you’re getting the proper nutes?

I was trying to say that animals ARE the disabled and children.

I don't see any reason us upright walking primates need to eat anyone.

animals aren't aware of their existence but they can be aware of certain inflicted wounds or infections that slowly causing physical exhaustion in their hunting environment
so you see, their aware of what they see BUT not at all at the same time

many animals are totally aware of their existence.. morning doves are able to recognize themselves in mirrors. they can also recognize specific humans in pictures.

you sure must be the life of the party when not needed

but let me tell you this, I've studyed filosophy back in school, this was my first encounter with this branch as well, it opened up a mass of posibilities/trajectory for certain life impacts as I'd never thought of — this was remember, back when I was very much little, now to tell you the this... I also happen to study these among basic born/death dates of philosophers and just a few of their profile's work... that we also got to this axis and basically animals have their "I" as well but is more senzorial and not as 1% developed as ours is/was..

so if a dog would sit in the bare sun he'd be like "Ok, I feel this heat, this is happening to me now, but if I leave this spot I'll never know where I was, even if by my wet nose I can recognize this very pitch black zone". So they aren't aware of what their doing, is mostly basic primal instincts that acts as a again and for the last time, indirect conciousness
In more simpler words, they know their there but they do not know that they exist, is more of a constant presence that again, I'll never be at the same level of conciousness... :)

Crows can develop grudges with individual people and will harass and attack said person and the hate is passed down through multiple generations.

whales have been seen saving seals from orca by raising them above the water on their bellies.

Human arrogance is rampant but certainly not legitimate. Many animals are much more advanced then most people realize and many are self aware.

And some are delicious .

Going to take some more casts tomorow.
