Will my doc give me benzos ?

That's great you were in a controlled environment

I wouldnt call it a controlled environment. personally i was actually treated better in jail that oe time i was arrested as they actualy gave me my meds there. I got no meds not even a asprin for coming off 6mg of clonaz and 150mg of IV morph a day. It was brutal

Thanks

She gave me seresta because she told me that the drug leave your body very quickly so you can take one to take off the anxiety without fucking your day because you tired. I will give it a try but i saw that seresta can be a bit long to take effect so i will try it normal and sublingual and if it takes too many time i will ask her for something a bit faster who also leaves your body quickly ( sry if i maje english mistakes)

I didn't know that Seresta brand but I googled it and I learnt that it's oxazepam.
It's not the best option for panic attacks, it's a metabolite of diazepam- with shorter half life- but as you said it takes time to take effect. Diazepam related stuff are great for muscle and body relaxation, but they aren't the most suited benzos for anxiety(clorazepate being maybe the exception). Panic attacks are horrific and they need something that hit fast and hard, alprazolam works much better.
I get your doc wanting to play it safe, but 0.50mg Xanax, here and there and only when needed, would be more hepful in your situation.
Anyway oxazepam is much better than nothing, that's for sure.

If you're i the north of Europe I would suspect they would try a SSRI like (es)citolapram first, but they might prescribe you pregabalin(Lyrica)

Agreed. If you, OP, keep having anxiety issues, them docs will offer you to try pregabalin very, very probably. Look out and be alert: for some reason that I don't know pregabalin has not the same taboo as benzos and doctors are much more prone to prescribe it in some countries. They label benzos as addictive - and they are- but it seems that they think that pregabs aren't, but they are. Wds from pregabalin are a very nasty reality that I happened to learn the hard way.

I don't know if you said what euro country are you from? Cause that it's key regarding benzo prescription matters.

It is getting hard to be prescribed benzos in EU but i have 80x10mg diazepam pills every month from my doc. I wanted to switch back on alprazolam because it is a lot cheaper but for some reason he thinks that in my case, diazepam is the best option.
And he also prescribe 60x25mg promethazine pills.

But i heard how he refused to prescrice 0,25mg xanax for one person and he was quite angry when patient asked for lowest dose of benzo but he has no problem prescribing me benzos for 13 years now.
