Mushroom Season 2011 UK / Ireland / Anywhere else

no a small golf course bout 5 mins walk from me im in dublin its a grand little spot dont think many no about it an its right behind
a housing estate.
 
still never tried mushies in the 14 yrs been having a dabble i tried acid which is my fave then tried dried cactus the worse 12 hours of my life hope mushies can top the chart though

btw acid and pills go very well together

Slang is indeed a bit wierd. & all very localized.

I remember my first time being in a club in Scotland & being asked if i wanted any eckies! Had to get the aul Irish/Scottish drug slang dictionary out..... eckies = yokes. :)
 
Had a quick peek down my local spot last week. Wasn't surprised that I didn't find any what with the fucked weather we've been having as of late. Weather seems to be on the turn now though so hopefully this weekend or next they will start to pop up. :)
 
OK, is this a good idea and if not, what's wrong other than eating them fresh!
If I find them this year, I'm gonna blend them from fresh, just the tops?, with natural yogurt, small amount of milk, honey, maybe some strawberries, a shroom smoothie basically and am gonna freeze the mix in batches for later use as am on the dry at the mo.

Sounds great, fresh is best.

It's gonna taste fuckin rank though.

Good plan too, I'm a great believer in just eating the caps, leave the stalk and all the shit and mud that prob cause a lot of the GI problems, make a spirit based drink out of them....

EDIT...sorry , didn't read it properly...I don't think it would freeze well, just make a spirit based drink out of the lot, preserves the potency well.

I guess so, i *think* vinegar can be used as pretty good solvent for psilocin/psilocybin...just use a spirit, and fuck the pulp off after you've mashed it through a couple of times, why use vinegar? Are you a non-drinker? If so, yeah, vinegar should work.....

This is purely conjecture and hazy memories of something i once read, i really couldn't say 100% if vinegar would work...someone bright will though..

EDIT>>>>I'm sure I used acetic acid for a psilocin/psilocybin extraction once, didn't really get the end product i was hoping for, so never tried it with any big amounts of shrooms, might look into it again...lol, even though I haven't been picking yet this year....
